Well hopefully they make it Region Free but even if they don't Japan is Region A and we just have to see if it includes english subtitles or no subtitles.

Saw Ponyo Blu-ray (Japan) announced for December 8 and is suppose to include English dub and subtitles! :D

I was really really excited when the news about samurai champloo being released came out. It practically made not only my day at the time, but also my month!!
Now here I am wondering why in heaven's sake they decided NOT TO INCLUDE AT LEAST ENGLISH SUBTITLES!! fRENCH SUBTITTLES? COME ON!!!:confused:

With tears in my eyes I'm off to amazon's page to cancel my 2 orders. No sell for me...This is double hard for me because I respected and looked up to funimation out of every other distributor of anime.

Sad, just sad.:( :(

Huh? Samurai Champloo is supposed to have English subtitles...Amazon's listings are usually wrong.


also, rightstuf is listing Blood the Last Vampire (anime). Due on Nov 24th

What? That? Just ignore the technical specs on Amazon's page, they're more often wrong than not- of course it will have English subs.

Awesome sig BTW, I recently saw a Japanese girl wearing an English shirt that said "Hip Hop is Dead". I wish I could get away with a shirt like that in the US. Maybe if it were in Japanese :D

Makes sense after all with the live action movie coming out soon as well might as well throw in the anime movie as well.

Yeah I never look at Amazon's descriptions because most of the time they don't know what the hell they are talking about and I know Funimation is not stupid to not include English subtitles(though it wouldn't matter to me anyways) but Funimation has always included subtitles in it's releases on dvd and Blu-ray(unless it's like Afro Samurai and Robotech with only 1 dub).
