Blu-ray Forum - Trophy Leaderboards and Boosting

This month has absolutely DEVASTATED my bank account. lol.

This is the list of stuff I've bought this month. I've overdone it SO damn much, and I STILL want to get that Infamous DLC but won't be able to until November 1st (if then).

BLURAYS: Jackie Brown (FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

PS3 GAMES: Paid for Batman: Arkham City & Uncharted 3 (paid for both with AMZ gift cards, because the U3 would bill me prior to the 1st when I typically have money in the account).

PSN GAMES: From Dust, Mercuryhg, Dead Nation DLC, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit DLC (the bundle of new DLCS)

DVDS: Never Back Down, The Covenant, Running Scared (Paul Walker) and A Simple Plan

Plus I just bought Mayer Hawthorne's new album "How Do You Do" which is out a week early on Itunes.

Plus I have my monthly Gamefly (1 out at a time), 2 subscribed political podcasts (15 bucks total) my Culligan monthly fee for delivery (bout 40 bucks) and a variety of other things.

My wallet is on life support right now. Pray for it.

Eh, I lend movies out a lot, and I do NOT lend my blus (which is easy for me to keep that promise, due to only knowing two people with a PS3), and it's not a high priority purchase for me so I got it on DVD for about three bucks.

To get a movie on Blu I have to either have it in my all time favorite list or it's just a movie that I've developed an attachment to for one reason or another.

I'm chomping at the bit for Pulp Fiction today.

On topic, LEGO StarWars III is approaching tedious :(

I was doing so well with God of War: Origins and then I stopped caring.

I'm going to finish it though. I STILLLLLLL need to do that Race from point A to Point B and back again challenge in Force Unleashed II

Started playing Dark Souls last night. Woke up real early to play it today. Eating breakfast and drinking coffee and then Dark Souls.

Step 4: If you succeeded in activating SAFE MODE, you will see the message on screen saying, “Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the button on the controller”. When you see this message, connect a USB cable to the controller and the PS3 and press the button to display the safe mode menu. it will look like the picture below

Step 5: Select option 3: Restore File System - Attempts to repair all areas on the hard disk drive where files can be saved. Corrupted data may be erased if it cannot be recovered. This option may also be successful in fixing issues where the system freezes in relation to the XMB, loading game or downloaded content, installing game or firmware data, etc.

In Conclusion: After completing all of the above steps and the process is complete the XMB runs faster, games load and work, all of your own data/files are still there (i have never experienced loss of data but i have been told by PlayStation customer service that its possible to loose some data on the HDD that is corrupted). I recommend trying this method before sending you PS3 to Sony to be fixed, save you some money and time. The step by step information comes directly from PlayStation customer service

it makes the xmb faster... lol doesnt delete any of your data either.. more or less like a defrag on a computer

MUT Trade(could use a buddy for this one)
Return interception 100 yards(trying to figure this one out)

Cool. I'm going to avoid trophy guides for some time and just plow through it just to see how well I fare. I did read a couple of reviews, and had to chuckle about how some of the monsters have a curse that drops your HP by 50% AND it can stack. Got to love that old school brutality. :rock:

assuming it arrives anytime soon. how long does it normally take for a UK order? it shipped last Monday so it's only been a week and a day. I'm assuming a week to get to America then 3 days normal mail to get here. hoping for Thursday.

@Kami: Are you going to get suckered into those Elemental Monster packs? I'm thinking about it but only if you and I can carefully boost it together so I don't end up spending $40 for it. IDK how to play it... Not good at card games... but LMK and I'll see what I can learn before the PSN+ sell ends.

Edit: Actually... Upon farther reading... I may skip this one. It seems like it's going to be nearly impossible for me to platinum it. I don't want to risk wasting all that money for nothing.

Let me know if you have plans to start Castlevania Harmony of Despair and need a hard run thru partner. :) I'm item farming the rest of the week with my brother then I have to move on to something else.

Picked up the Uncharted dual pack, now maybe I can go back and beat the first one on crushing. And bought the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection :D Add 2 new controllers, move navigation and charging thingy, I've spent too much money on games already this month lol

yep it was fun. :) I enjoy the sillyness of those games. my only problems are the bad camera and depth perception due to it. makes some of the jumps and such tricky when they shouldn't be, can get frustrating.

and I didn't like the hub for the reason of "finding" people, but I lucked out and found BB after I went through first 2 chapters of film 1 in freeplay. I didn't want to do more since I needed BB. so I started looking and ran right past him :D

I do have to give them credit for the little details. did you see how perfect Jack ran/walked? just like the character :p those little things make those games what they are. you can tell they love the movies, and the lego world.

i hear Lego Harry potter 2 is coming out soon, or at least up for preorder.

Yes. And I hope it isn't as glitchy as the first one.

I still have to play it. These LEGO games are some of the only ones left that I would play even without trophies. I still have 100% saves from LEGO StarWars, Batman and Indie1 on my PS3.

I LOVE these games.

Am I the only one that has had problems with online storage? It says I have like 18MB free, but when trying to update the Need for Speed one it keeps saying that there's not enough space.

They SERIOUSLY need to up that online storage capacity. 150mb or whatever it is is WAY too low.
