Ugh....one goshed darned trophy left on Madden 12 and I just can't get it. It is the 100yd interception return. I can intercept in the endzone, but i cant get out of the endzone....or i get to like the 30. So I am going to go back to playing on All-Madden and just hope that it happens randomly.

started Demons Souls UK last night. :D

I have a question for the group, since I beat demons souls 3 times to get the plat on the US version, I will be making full use of the dooping glitch on the UK run. I want this to be pure fun, not farming stones or playing 30 times to get the boss souls for all the different spells/weapons/miracles.

which means I should get the plat much faster than my original game.

does this disqualify me from the leaderboards? :confused: It is an exploit after all, but I have fairly beat the game already. but this will add to my trophy count.

basically I'm doing it anyway, I just don't want to be unfair to the leaderboards.

whatever the thread decides I will back, (i won't ever break the top 10 anyway :) )

and if taken out of the leaderboards I will still contribute to this thread as much as before and be open to any boosting or multiplayer help, with no hard feelings. :rock:

save hacks are a no no

the most ridiculous exploit ive seen to date is for the 2 XP trophies in alien vs predator. the online is one of the most horrible setups ive ever seen. it really is bad. so the online is dead because of it and even when you do find a boosting group sometimes you can join them... its horrible. heres how to exploit the two trophies. its insane that this one works.

The original AVP exploit to allow XP in single player

1. Put in Resistance 1
2. After installation (if it's your first time), select Campaign
3. Choose any difficulty, watch the intro, when you have control of the character, select "Save & Quit"
4. Highlight "Yes" but don't press it yet!
5. Push the PS button to open up XMB
6. Eject Resistance and put in AVP
7. Wait until the CD icon appears below then press PS button again to return to Resistance
8. Select "Yes" now
9. Game will load AVP instead.
10. Proceed to Multiplayer - Ranked - Quick Match
11. Select Deathmatch, Any amount of players, wait until screen says something like "1 player in match, waiting for 7"
12. Quit back to Menu, select Marine campaign
13. Play through Mission 1 until you get to the part after the Club where you defend a spot with some marines and a turret. There's alot of Aliens there, kill as many as you can but keep a grenade with you then run to the elevator. Upon exiting the elevator, kill yourself with a grenade, reload checkpoint and repeat until trophy pops.

NOTE1: I think you must be connected to PSN at all times. Repeat steps 10-13 if you get disconnected

NOTE2: I have determined that it doesn't load earlier save files because if you load the game this way (via Resistance), it looks for save files under the Resistance folder instead of the normal AVP folder. And NO, moving your profile save file from AVP to Resistance or vice versa won't work, it will show up as corrupted.

If you wish to continue earning other trophies like the Campaign ones, quit the game and load AVP normally (without Resistance) and you will be able to load your previous save files once more.

Hello, Ive done this glitch myself and thought I would put all of the information you need into one thread instead of everyone having to look through multiple pages in the boosting thread.
Credit goes to Beatpeitsi for telling us about this glitch and the basics of how to do it.
Credit also goes to Johnmc for telling me what to do for step 6.

Step 1:
On your Computer
Download the Elite Mossy Patch Blocker for PS3
PatchBlocker.exe

Step 2:
Open the patch blocker and look at the larger code. It will be something like this: 192.168.0.114

Step 3:
On your Playstation go to -> Network Settings -> Internet Connection Settings.
Choose custom and go through your usual internet connection settings.

Step 4:
When you reach Proxy Server, press use and copy down both of the codes into the correct positions. The larger code should go into the top box. Continue through your settings and after you have saved them press exit. DO NOT TEST CONNECTION

Step 5:
Delete your AVP game data from the game data utility folder.

Step 6:
You might be able to skip this step but some people are having problems so ill include it. Run AVP and download and install the first patch. after it has downloaded CANCEL THE PROCESS. Quit the game.

Step 7:
On the patch blocker press "Start Blocking" and open up the game. If your are signed into PSN which you shouldnt be sign out.

Step 8:
Now when the game has loaded sign in to PSN. Go to -> Multiplayer -> Ranked Match -> Search Deathmatch with the amount of player to Any.

Step 9:
When the game says "1 Player in game, Waiting for _ more" Quit to the main menu. It doesnt matter if your signed into the PSN anymore but you shouldn't be signed out

Step 10:
Go to Singleplayer and load up the Colony mission on normal difficulty. NOTE: if the game freezes after the cut scene refer to step 6.

Step 11:
Play through the level until you get to the C Block area trying to collect as many grenades as possible, the max is 4 but you only need 1. There should be a lot of debris and one of your teammates should be trying to fit through a gap but gets taken by a Xeno. The turret should stop working and there should be a lot of Xenomorphs. Kill as many as you can and run to the elevator. Make sure that you are on 2 bars of health when you enter the elevator as it should make things a lot easier.

Step 12:
Exit the elevator and you should be in this brownish coloured room that is fairly open spaced. Point at the ground and fire your grenades and you should die. Rinse and repeat for about 5-10 minutes and you should get "Welcome to the Party" If you keep playing for about 25-30 minutes you should get "Real Nasty Habit"

Step 13:
Quit the game and go into network settings. You can close the patch blocker now. Go into custom and choose all the settings you had before but DO NOT USE THE PROXY SERVER. This will allow you to log back into the network as normal.

There is no way to tell whether the glitch is working until one of the trophies pops, but if you follow my guide it should work. I would also like to say that you can do this with a wired connection or wireless connection.

NOTE: If for some reason you cannot finish both of the trophies in one sitting you CAN come back into the game later through the patch blocker and repeat steps 1-9. When you get to choosing the SP level, if you were half way through killing yourself before you can continue the game through the Continue option. Your XP count will be reset but you wont have to waste 15-20 minutes replaying the whole level again. I did this and can confirm that it works.

Apart from that I believe that this guide is finished. If you have any questions or believe that I missed something out tell me and I will try and check back on this thread as frequently as possible. I hope I helped you guys out and some of you can get these annoying trophies with little effort.

I didn't think it would be a big deal but I wanted to be up front about it just in case.

and that AVP glitch/exploit is insane. even the one in Demon's souls, who thinks to try this crap?

I half expect that most exploits like this are leaked by developers to help the players. I mean I'm sure some are found by real players but who tries all this goofy crap? let alone tries it with the intent to get something out of it like exp or duped items?:confused:

Is Demon's Souls hard or is it just time consuming??

I think it's more time consuming then hard. Honestly it isn't the type of hard where it sets up cheap exploits and makes you go "THIS IS BULL SHIT!" it's more of the hard where if you die you feel like you deserved it.

i can have a temper with games (i've gotten better since my ps2 days) but even though Demons souls is tough it almost never had me calling bull$%#!

most deaths are because you rushed without being careful. thats what makes it time consuming in that you need to go slow and be ready. which helps add to the tension of the game. and knowing one screw up or fall off a cliff and you have to do it all again (enemies respawn) and could lose all the souls you've collected.

honestly I think it has the same kind of stress levels as the original Dead Space or Bioshock.

i recommend it. I'll be playing Dark Souls too (next year some time after the wiki is full of tips and strats :p )

is demons souls kind of like diablo? I've had it sitting on my shelf in the shrink wrap for awhile now. I'm waiting for some snowy days to bust into it, or christmas shut down at work (which ever comes first)

Anybody ever playt WET??

I tried the demo and it sucked but I've been known to have a short attention span when I HAVEN'T spend 60bucks on a game.

Should I give it another try for Eliza or did it actually suck that bad??
