its actually not bad, ive only played a little bit of it, but its actually a pretty fun game, youll probably enjoy it

I hope it's a short playthrough. I don't want to spend too much of my precious time on this game. I'm having a blast since a few weeks going from Killzone 2 to Resistance 2 to Paula Creamer 10!

Managed to get my 50 stars in time trails today on Mirror's Edge. Only have 8 level speed runs to go now before I get my platinum. The time trials kind of burnt me out so going to give Mirror's Edge a rest for a few weeks now.

I'm playing Bioshock1 and is it only me or that game is quite difficult? Lately I've started my new games in hard mode... this one I'm on medium, and i'm thinking to change it to easy (in my gamer life I've never did that... only for trophy hunting). Each time I meet with a Rosie (the big guys), I'm loosing all my cash, amos, healt and "drugs"... so I need to take care to build myself up ready for the next big fellow... I think I just don't get the game...

It is hard...

Vita chamber is where you ressurect? so if there is no chamber? what happen when you die? No "ressurection"?

I will not hunt trophie on that game... too hard... and I don't really like it (I know I know...) but I just want to at least finished it. (and on medium difficulty for my personal pride)

yes, the vita chamber is where you ressurrect, if you are playing with no vita chambers, then when you die, you restart where you last saved the game, solution: save very often

and the rosies and big daddies are not to difficult if you know how to take them out, ive found two ways that work equally well, and you wont get hurt at all doing them, it takes a little way through the game to get to where you can do these, but until then you can just avoid them, they only attack you if you attack them or go after a little sister, but to take them out, do one of the following:

1) after you get the rocket launcher weapon, one of the things you can use on it is proximity mines. find something moveable, like a trash can, and shoot 6 of them onto the trash can, then use telekenesis to move it and shoot it at the big daddy, if it doesnt kill it, it will take a few rounds of electric buckshot to finish it off

or

2) the easiest way, after you save a couple big sisters, you will get a special package for helping, and you will get the hypnotize big daddy plasmid, equip that, and shoot a big daddy with it to hypnotize, then find another big daddy and shoot it with one of your guns, it will rush you, and then just go toe to toe with your hypnotized big daddy, you can just stand then and shoot at it all you want, it wont come after you at all, just keep your big daddy hypnotized and make sure you dont let it get hit with anything explosive you shoot, or then they will both come after you! i just stood behind then enemy one and hit it repeatedly with the wrench, took a minute or two, but you didnt put yourself at risk at all doing it

i can be a tough game, but if you can work around it, its not too bad

Don't worry, the game gets easier once you get a few plasmids.

And there's a glitch, you can beat the game on easy and still get the Survivor difficulty trophy.

This is good info to those of you that don't have the platinum in this game. The only thing I would add is:

SAVE VERY OFTEN! You can save before and after every battle. If you run out of bullets during a fight but still win make a second save and try it again with the first save and use the knowledge that you know now and see if you can do better. If not you still have your second save that is after you already beat that part so what will you lose?

Also, when fighting most of the big daddies you can "cheat" and hide from them and shoot them from cover. Then eventually you'll be able to just take them on pretty easily in the game by running.

Once you have the sticky explosives you can stick like 5 of them onto an explosive canister and throw that with telekinesis at the Big Daddy and it'll do HUGE damage. But I think there's also friendly fire with that so be careful.

Yeah I've heard of other forums confirming that the glitch works.

GAH! I started the game on Normal. If ONLY I knew :(. But for curiosity sake, how does the glitch work?

Why do people want to use glitches over tactics? I don't get it...

well for one, I don't just use glitches just to get a trophy all of the time. And if I do, most of the time, it's by accident. I just wanted to get that trophy the easiest way because the game is HARD and (it may just be me) the controls feel weird. And by the way, I remember that you said that you don't care about trophies anymore, so if you don't care about trophies anymore, why do you still post here?
