I was thinking of ordering the asian version myself as it has english, but yes trophies would pop for you

Does anyone have anything to say….good or bad….about the trophy hunting experience in prince of Persia??

I see a new game is coming out in a couple weeks but was curious how the 1st game was.

isnt the Japanese version english as well? I mean like English audio, but Japanese text.

does anyone in the trading group not have the Terminator plat? i'm sure you all do but i just picked it up for $13

not sure, i'm going by what i read on play asia. asian version says english audio with japanese text though i'd prefer the opposite. The japanese rsion doesn't even list the languages

I don't think they ever put japanese voice actors on the game.

I've played POP and chasing the light seeds isn't horrid, especially with all the guides out there... But it also isn't that fun of a game to me..

I do, the game is really easy to platinum but can get annoying. It's best if you can beat it in local co-op. Makes it even easier and more fun to play.


I may have read the conversation all wrong, but if you're talking about No More Heroes there's pretty much a guarantee that it's coming to the US. I realize the desire to have games early, but the import cost on a game that's going to be localized really isn't worth it.

I remember that i read somewhere that they dont plan on bringing it to the US

Beat the last combat challenge on Arkham Asylum again. This time it saved my score and gave me the 100% complete trophy. ::breathes sigh of relief::

Now I have to run through the game on hard and the platinum is mine! :rock:

Congrats, the combat challenges is the only thing keeping me from plat and i havent played the game in months so i know my combat skills have only gotten worse...I'd trade in any of my plats for this one plat. :banghead:

in more words: the game was pretty fun to me for the first set of boards, but from there on, it was super repetitive and it just got less fun the more you play, it is strictly a platformer with an occasional battle that lasts almost no time, it gets pretty boring towards the end of the hunt, especially if youre like me and get the light seed glitch and have to play the whole game a second time, i was so burnt out after that, it would have worked out a lot better to me if they would have included more combat, if you are a big fan of platformers, you will probably enjoy it for the most part, i think it still might get a tad repetitive though

Nope they exist on the 1st game but however the 2nd game isn't even available in Japan so naturally no Japanese voice have even been made for the 2nd game yet.

It takes a lot of luck. On the last challenge Rumble in the Jungle Extreme, I had to get 20-25k of the 50k in the first round or I wouldnt even get close. I tried to use all of Batmans moves in the combo because it gives you 5k per round if you use them all. Its just hard to do that while not breaking a combo or getting hit.

is it as repetitive as AC1?? :bitenails:

Bugger, my trophies won't sync. It gets to 10% then stops and has been doing this since yesterday. Anybody else getting this or is it just my bad luck kicking in?

You could be right, but they said the same thing about Afrika and it was mentioned about a few other games. You never know. I'd hold off, but if you're super impatient (like I can be at times) then go for it.

Could be an issue on their end, or yours... I've found trying 100 times in a row generally makes it work... Seriously. Eventually it works.

i wouldnt say its THAT repetitive, but at least the jumping around and platforming was cooler in AC1, at least to me, PoP really only has one route you can use to get through the different areas, AC was at least open world

dude, i was putting so much work into unlocking all the stupid gigs in lego rock band, i finally did that, im gonna try to get the rest of those this weekend, maybe try a few days next week, and if i cant get it, im just giving up and shipping all the games to steve, but i am planning on taking monday off so i can do a few things (including sending infamous back to you and hopefully if i finish it, those other games to steve), but i was also going to sit down with the pixeljunk games i just bought, and maybe even trine and anarchy or whatever that one racing game is called, and just bang out a bunch of trophies in those games, should be getting a new GF game soon too, they sent me the "game recieved" text earlier today, hopefully its an easier game, ive got a bunch of quick plats at the top of my list

yeah, I found POP to be annoying. And if you're a trophy hunter it can be even worse. You have to be annoyed with trying to rush to beat the time limit, but not rush too much because you don't want to die too many times...

I found the controls to be awful. Half the time the Prince would jump in a completely different direction than I wanted him to. Maybe it was just me, IDK, but the controls didn't feel as fluid as they could have.
