the thing about waw was, no matter how much skill you had, or how much you practiced, at the end of the day it came down to the player needing 80% skill and 20% luck to beat some of those levels.... skill alone wasnt enough

Okay I'm grinding through the post-finish aspects of inFAMOUS. Finding all the shards, clearing all the areas, etc.

I have like 93% done on the Historic District, but there's one area that's not cleared and there's NO side missions. I've covered every inch of that area and there's no more side missions, and I think I've cleared all the enemies as well.

What gives?

When you beat Kessler it gives you the last area. If thats not it then go around and kill any enemies left over in the area for the hidden packages.

I've beaten the game.

I've found all the dead drops.

There are a few shards around the area that I haven't been able to reach, but that shouldn't be it.

I believe I've killed every enemy in the section as well. It's pissing me off.

Then it has to be one of the hidden packages.

But that would be signalled by a yellow exclamation or some type of yellow mark when I get close to it on the mini-map (the later ones won't show up on the larger map), right?

Totally agree. The last 2 levels became laughable on how F'd up they were with the grenade spamming. I still think COD 2 had the best veteran mode, very difficult but fair with it.

are there any dark areas on your map when you pull it up?
I think I'm passing up Black Ops..I'm not into CoD multiplayer anyway..

Yes, it's that part down where the bridge or pier or whaever got blown to shit and is still on fire, and the middle part is all laying in the water in ruins. you can't cross that area either.

I've been over the entire area....maybe there's still some enemies...I'll go play some more....

The spot that's still not cleared is the area where I found the Ray Sphere and destroyed it.

I'm guessing you have done all the satellite uplink missions..because they should show you the locations after.

for the final area, you can only complete it after beating the game

I'm going after all the extra stuff like shards, and side missions and whatnot. I cleared all the Historic district except for that one area.

I've already beaten Kessler in that burnt out crater area and the credits rolled.

So whatever that was supposed to unlock unlocked.

It wasn't anything to write home about... I was expecting more. They're really showing off the Move so there's half the stations that they had last year because of the space you need for the move.

I'm about half way through the game on veteran. If I wasn't i'd definitely run through it with you. I need to finish this damn level.

Agreed. But I'd say the luck part is closer to 30+%... It's annoying.

VIA GOOGLE: the area near the final battle will clear up after defeating kessler. if there are still any uncleared areas in neon, warren, or historic district - and you have completed all the side missions - go to the uncleared area, and kill an enemy. the first one you kill will turn into a "Hidden Package" mission which will clear the area. when i beat the game, i had 2 uncleared areas in The Warren and that was it, which pissed me off because i thought that i couldnt clear them up. however, just kill some enemies in that uncleared area and a side mission will appear.

There's no enemies there though. Every now and then I'll find one in another area of that section (historic) but none in that immediate area. Weird.

BTW: you better pick me up some free Lost Swag at Comic-con! lol
