Playing Call of Duty Classic on Veteran is driving me nuts. The AI is so retarded! Three enemy soldiers ran right past my partner and came directly to me. My partner didn't even try to stop them, nor did the enemy soldiers try to stop my partner. Not to mention you die in two shots.
Oh and it saves when it's suppose to SOMETIMES. |

I didn't use any car except the purple girl car. She was my favorite and got me through the whole game. lol. I wont be getting the GOW Collection anytime soon. I have it on order from work but it always takes us like a month to get the games... So I'll have to wait to get those plats in like a month or so. I need to get the tomb raider collection to plat those... And I need to get back to the POP collection. I liked the one I was playing I just stopped and haven't went back to it for some reason. Got to 37 flags in Plants vs Zombies Endless Survival and then I LOST :mad:

It would be fine if it wasn't for those zamboni and frankensteins. the zamboni can be stopped by the spikes and the upgraded spikes last multiple tire punctures. but the frankenstiens won't die. i think the "tree of wisdom" said they take 3 cherry bombs to die. and you saw how many franks they throw at you at once!!! whatever. lol. |
Yep, it really sucked. :( I'll try again maybe tonight. I really don't know what went wrong, 36 was fine then all of a sudden I'm getting my ass handed to me. Maybe I'll try the cob cannons, but the slow down will make them harder to use.
I kept trying to use the spikes and upgraded ones, but those frankenstiens you called them always smash them. The good thing is that since the upgraded ones can take more damage it keeps them occupied for a little bit. |

For the enemy soldiers, I would move foward to trigger them, then run back, and let my AI teammates kill them. If I see them taking too much damage, or if they are not able to kill them, I would kill them (and most of the time not get hit as they are focusing their fire on your teammates). Just make sure you get headshots. As for the machine gunners, use your teammates as bait. Wait for them to fire at the AI then quickly get a headshot off then go back into cover. They won't even have a chance to hit you. |

Over 3 hours again of endless survival and I finally got 100% on Plants vs Zombies! Made around $70k going thru 44 waves too, not that I needed it for anything at that point.

Online isn't required, only 1 item becomes unavailable if the servers go down and it's not required for the plat. Online does make it a shorter play thru if you decide to find a buddy to item trade with. Quote:

So from the top and bottom row I removed the 2nd puff shroom (going left to right) and put another winter-pult I think it's called. The puff shrooms at the back are supposed to protect from Imps & those miner zombies but having just the 2 other worked fine. Also around flag 25 or so I had over 6000 sun so I replaced the 4 left most double sunflowers with cob cannons. I always used the spikes and upgrades making sure at least one of them were in the top and bottom rows first, but I had to be careful since I only had 2 double sunflowers left to get sun from. I also used the jalapeno & cherry bomb, and the imitator as a second one of either. Considering the slow down this game has, manually targeting the cob cannons & placing the bombs was a bit of a pain. Also don't forget to use the mushroom that freezes all enemies when the red eyed Gargantuan zombies appears! Then blast them away with cob cannons, cherry bombs & jalapenos. Sometimes I even used the the doom shroom(?) but remember they leave a crater for a while after they explode. |

After reading all these comments about people complaining about the forum, I just wanted to share my opinion. I think people are more content with blaming mods than anything. I have personally have not seen someone that was banned/suspended without a good reason. I have not seen anyone banned for having a difference of a opinion either. There is nothing wrong with a different opinion but it's more of how you go about it. If you're going about it the wrong way you're asking for trouble and then you want to say it was because you had a different opinion. It's most likely because you handled it the wrong way. I really don't have any problems with people and if you your opinion differs from mine, I'm not going to hold it against you or ban you because I disagree. There are just some stupid people on here. I read in that thread someone called me out saying I was complaining about modding the Battlefield 3 thread when thats not what I was doing at all. I merely said I shouldn't have to come in here an tell everyone to act like adults. Honestly, I shouldn't. But people take things to seriously from one comment and things get out of hand. It was a continuous thing so I was was telling them it needs to stop and I didn't ban anyone. I just removed the posts and warned them to stop. I know this probably isn't the proper place for the post and I have no problem with anyone here, nor I think anyone has an issue with me so I thought I would share:shrug: But I only really pay attention to the PS3 section so I can't really comment on anything else.

It's because I've become addicted to Fighting games. I play Mortal Kombat like 80% of the time and switch between other games. I'm trying to plat Deus Ex if I can but when I get off work I wind up playing Mortal Kombat and then I work on other games during the weekend. It's horrible. I bought Dead Island and barely even played it. I haven't really played Clannad yet. I just don't have enough time to satisfy my fighting game addiction and play all my other games and get platinums.

I have a feeling when BF3 and MW3 drops, my trophy hunting will become non-existant. Way too many hours spent on MW2 and BFBC2 in the past, that could have better been spent earning a few more trophy levels, haha.
currently playing Deus Ex with a walkthrough so I can get the plat on first playthrough, minimal cleanup. |
Should be getting White Knight Chronicles in a few days. I heard it takes a while to plat that.
But before that I might plat Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. And I should go back to God of War III and get that last trophy. |
