it does take a lot of time to keep this thread up to date, and expecially since its around the holidays, i wouldnt expect him to have a lot of free time and what he does have this probably wouldnt be a top priority right now, im sure itll get updated when he can do it, and you can post your card here anyway, so people can still see where you are

i still contend that he has to be a reviewer or someone with lots of ties in the industry, he did platinum uncharted 2 before release date after all, and not many people make that much money that they can buy all those games, while still having the free time to play them all

I don't care what he tells people. He has ties to the industry some how. There's NO way that he platinums 2 games a week, plays 18 hours a day, gets games before they're released and does it as a regular Joe.

i cant think of any other way he can do that either, i mean you could be super rich and dont have to work, won the lottery or something, but you still dont get games before release date, especially a huge release like uncharted 2, without some connections

also, i joined the ranks of the MW2 platinum owners today, finishing my last spec ops mission thanks to repeat66211 from the forums here, and got the plat in cloudy with a chance of meatballs yesterday, double platinum weekend! :rock:

now its back to alone in the dark:inferno, which is pretty lame, its a shame because i think it could have been very good if not for the absolutely awful controls, its tough to play at times just because they are so janky

But that is just it. The reason why he got games earlier is because retailers in his country do not bother about street dates. And he just really plays games whenever he's not in school. He already openly admitted that gaming is his social life.

Hey guys I'm back :D. I have been having problems with ps3trophycard because it wont show my GoW 1 and 2 trophies so Im using another card and stuff. I might also point out I now have 300 trophies :D

I also have my platinum in cloudy with a chance of meatball. How easy was that game:p Got every trophy in Fear 2 apart from some of the online trophies. There is no one playing that online now so no chance of getting my platinum in that. Working on some of the Resistance 2 online trophies now.

Arghh...I'm agonizingly close to my FIFA 10 platinum. I may have to get a second controller for my last trophy

you can always head over to ps3trophies and look in the forums there, you can usually find boosting partners fairly easily for any game, i went looking for someone to do ski doo snowmobile with me, and i ended up getting like 10 friend requests for it :eek: i had to eventually repost there to tell people to stop looking for me to help because i had already sent the game back

and i know, cloudy with a chance of meatballs was rediculously easy, but it was still kind of fun, and a welcome change of pace for the games ive been playing lately, like alone in the dark (which is almost done, thank god!) and dead space

i am soo glad that i will never have to play alone in the dark ever again! finished the plat today! that makes three platinums this weekend! :rock:

again though, that game had so much potential and a lot of great ideas, but the controls just killed it, that and the fact that supplies were so scarce, they should at least include icons on the map to show you where you could find certain objects, so you dont have to spend 10 minutes walking around the park to find a glass bottle :angry: the combat in general was pretty bad too, but the last chapter was fantastic, with the puzzle solving and platforming, if they could have fixed the controls during combat, i probably would have loved this game, oh well, until i get something new from gamefly, its back to finishing dead space! :rock:

Yes, yes and yes! I couldn't agree more! Terrible! I got so frustrated cause I wasn't getting ANYWHERE:angry: Also the physics when driving a car were HORRIBLE! The level where you race through the par took me forever cause I kept dying without hitting anything!

And the car would just take off into the air and pretty much start floating around when hitting a tiny bump!

I traded it in along with Call of Duty 3 for Bad Company 2 the day I finished it

my brother and i banged out 40+ stars in spec ops yielding me some nice trophies... 10 and 15 juggernauts are death on any level

Armor piercing level with 15 juggs isn't that hard, and can easily be done with just one player, now the 10 juggs with explosives.. lol... fun fun.. lol

Just platinum-ed FIFA 10. Now going for Uncharted 1. I hate that game.

the 15 on the oil rig was simple to do, and the 10 just takes time, the hardest spec op for me was wetwork, we would always get to the top level and either get picked off from somebody through the smoke, or something would go wrong breaching that last room, but we finally figured out afterabout 20 tries, that the guns we were using were too powerful, and bullets were going through people into hostages behind them or into the explosive barrels, so we switched to the submachine guns next to the door and passed it first time, either that or one of us messed up each time we got there, but im pretty sure it was the guns

i noticed that too, youd be driving on a clean stretch of road, then for no reason, the car would buck and fly into the air, i was like "what the hell?"

but again, i think the last chapter was awesome (except for the "light" ending) and the whole mystery/figure out the puzzles aspect was well done, there were so many good pieces they had, but they just put them together terribly

thankfully that was only a gamefly rental for me

I paid for my card and I think it's updated. I think their system is buggy again... but IDK. I paid $2 when they had a promo going.

i think the $2 might still be going, last time i looked, about a week ago, it said it was still $2, but it doesnt seem like that fixes all updating problems either

I too have stopped "hunting" garbage trophies... I found I was wasting time playing crap games for hours just to get "trophies". Lately I've been playing CODMW2 online a ton and Fallout 3, simply because they're games I enjoy plaiyng.

Same here, I'm done with trophy hunting. Alone in the dark was the last crappy game I played only for trophies. I just got Bioshock from Game Access and it's the last one before I close my account. I recently got back to Killzone 2 and I really missed something. After Bioshock Platinum, I'm all set for a lot of Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and making lots of birdies as Paula Creamer in Tiger Woods 10! :rock:

There is an easy way to kill the 10 juggernauts, I did it by myself with two joypads. When you start take the second player to the build on the left, jump through the window and make him stand in the doorway opposite the window you just jumped through. Now take your guy to the same building jump through the window and hide behind the table on your left in the room. When the juggernauts come for you they will down player two in the doorway but will not be able to get passed him. All you do is rain death on them from behind the table. Once you killed one go revive player two then return to hiding behind the table. Between juggernauts you should have time to get ammo too.

I got passed the top level on the oil rig by throwing flash bangs and running passed all the bad guys and getting to the breach point. I did it solo, was pretty hard. I needed help on only 3 spec op missions.:rock:
