I've been meaning to do it for ages and I knew that I'd have a week free before DarkSiders came out, so I used that week to do it, I'm sure there'll be a drought later in the year where you'll have a week free for grinding.

Funny you should mention it's a rare platinum, The guy I was boosting with was English, he only had one platinum and that was for Warhawk, now that was impressive.



Yeah I'd beaten it, had all the pigeons, all unique jumps etc I hadn't done all the friend stuff or met all the random npcs but I was at about 90+% when the patch came out.
Having to re-do all that stuff was nothing compared to the AWP and wanted trophies though.

It sucked I was not looking forward to beating some of those missions again.

hopefully that comes soon, ive got some stuff that will hopefully be finished soon that will allow me to take some time off work and take a little vacation to reward myself

;) Not entirely...but a little here and there for a bit. Played MW2 for about an hour or so earlier and picked up about 15% of the trophies. I dont currently have Gamefly, but once I move Ill prob get it again and start going to town on the backlog of crazy fast platinums that I dont have already. Its easily 20 games long by now. Not counting the platinums from the games I still havent played yet and want to like AC2 and UC2 etc.

so we still have time then? i probably am scaling down my trophy hunting a little bit because ill be playing MAG and likely be leading a clan, so ill be spending a lot of time there, ive been getting games that are not so quick from GF lately too, ive got call of juarez and RE5 right now, i really just want to finish them and get them out of here, but theres so much gaming to do, so little time

speaking of easy plats ice age 3 came in the mail today and since i was in a huge car accident tonight im off work n will plat it by tomoro

Yeah still a decent amount of time. Prob about a month. Honestly Ill be very surprised if by the time I start gaming a bit more in mid Feb, Im still in first place. Slightly disappointed too ;)

Ill prob just play MW2 here and there and Im thinking of picking up UC2 sometime soon to "tinker" with. Outside of that I wont be playing any games until a little while longer.

I watched Saw VI last night, is this Saw game any good? It must be fun getting killed simply because you can't solve the puzzles!

yeah, that part is pretty fun AT FIRST, i just dont think they came up with enough variety in the puzzles, there was really like 3 types of puzzles aside from some of the end of the level "boss" puzzles i guess, there were some cool things about the game, but it was poorly executed IMO, the controls and combat were both pretty wonky, but not at the level of alone in the dark bad, thankfully, if you like the movies, its worth a playthrough, but if you dont care for the movies, you probably dont want to use your time playing it

haha, well then give the game a shot, its pretty good for fans of the movies, i enjoyed it to a point, but like i said the controls and lack of variety held it back from living up to its potential

for the most part yeah, its a lot of "progress through the story" stuff that you wont miss if you are all observant you dont have to collect all of anything, its one kill with every weapon, pass every chapter, pick X number of locks, kill X number of enemies, and if you look around and progress through the game, you wont miss any of these, the hardest one was having to stomp 5 enemies to death, becuase its tough to knock enemies down without killing them so that you can stomp them while you are down
