(on a side note F that underdome dlc for borderlands :angry: 5 rounds with 5 waves each?? for the easy ones?? I couldn't make it past round 2. looks like I won't get 100% anytime soon. )

Not sure if this has been covered, but those points are way off. It's 15, 30, 90, 180 per trophy. For instance, I'm level 15, and have 43,000 points according to the MMOS leaderboard.

I believe you have to add them up..what's listed is how many points you need to get to the next level..

you are level 15 and what %?
because if you add it up you need 34,080 pts to get to level 15
and 43,680 pts to get to level 16..so from what you said it seems pretty much on par
that is to say you're now level 15 and 90+% and only 680pts away from level 16

What was the best way for you to level the last two levels?

I saw you had the little dome trophy and one big one, did you solo those? I'm thinking the only way I will get those trophies is if I set up one a day and get some people to help.

as for levels, I think I spent levels 46 - 49 or just under 49 on zombie island. I did everything and killed every zombie I saw until I had the Braaaa(etc)ins trophy. Then went and got the two ned ones and once that was done I went back to normal story. I'll do every possible side quest in a zone and turn them all in at once.

I hit 50 after meeting Tannis in the commons. but like I said I was doing pretty much every side quest and ignoring main quests until there was nothing else to do.

Also I gave up shooting everything. I was only getting 3xp for most enemies so I would kill what ever was in the way but focused on getting the mish complete exp. that is how you jump it up fast. I'd run/phaseshift past big groups and just grab whatever the goal was then run back.

I was kind of thinking I'd have to go back to the Zombie area as I figured they'd be the only guys to actually give me XP. Though I have been doing quests to get XP, but I do not believe I have the patience to completely redo the Playthrough for the high xp missions.

Yeah, I finished the Large Collesium with the 20 rounds by myself.

I have a self healing/shielding/ammo regen solider.

wow impressive. does the underdome scale to you or is it always lvl50?

if it scales i might try some different characters, you uber tank formula sounds interesting.

It scales to you, but I never found any of the opponents that challenging regardless of which particular weapon I may have used. They still died the same if you know what I mean.

i played some multiplayer on call of juarez last night with fsavoie, it was actually a lot more fun than i had pictured, but the trophies are going to take a long time, specifically the $1 million trophy, if anyone else has this game and needs these and wants to boost or just wants to help out or play a little, let me know, im going to be splitting my time between this and MAG until i platinum this game

I'll try someone more tank like. but I don't see it happening. I can't aim fast, so quick kills rarely happen for me. :o

clearly for those domes you need to be more skillful to maximize damage so they can't get you.

Getting the $1 million is not that bad really, After you get, play a legends match on each match trophy just play manhunt, thats where the cash is. In my best games I was finishing with over 40K. On average I was getting about 20-25K a game. I unlocked the Veteran first, he is a one shot kill, very useful. The dude with twin shotguns is great too. They were the two I used the most.

cool thanks, yeah was just going on the two wild west games i played last night and finished with a total of like 30000 or something, ive used a few of the characters too for the play a full game with each class trophy

Even though I'm not a big talker (at least not in english...) no mic is kind of a pain in that game when you try to set up a strategy with someone that clearly not understand the "body" language...

Also I'm not sure I understand (in fact i'm quite sure I don't understand) the classes upgrade system. When I play sometimes it say, you can now afford upgrades... but then when and where do I upgrade my stuff?

i think you can upgrade your and buy new classes in between matches, but i didnt look into it too much since i had to go early, i finally noticed that i could force start matches when there were enough people in the room, good thing, or we would have been there forever

Yeah I've noticed that after a while too when you left and I've host a couple games. The good thing is that the game let you just wondering around while waiting for people to join. Its a lot better than just sitting in the lobby.

yeah thats true, i was wondering what was going on when we were running around shooting while the screen kept flashing "waiting for other players" or whatever

You upgrade your class when the game is in progress. When you get some money in a game hit start and you will get the character select screen then you hit R1 or L2 (can't remember) to upgrade. You can upgrade twice in a game and that gets you the trophy for 20 second and 10 third level upgrades.

no joke. took me forever to get to 13. and with a bunch of bronze, a few silvers and a plat after hitting 13 I'm only 10% lol. oh well.:o

its tough going when you get into the higher levels for sure, be ready, cause its only gonna get worse!

yeah, Im just joking, I'm not that bad, I've worked 1 year in an english only company... I just need an adaptation moment with new players... that have new accent too me...

u gotta tell me if my accent is really New Jersey or if america non south states all sound the same... New York accents are by far the most annoying next to Bawstin Boston

If playing online for all those trophies (or just to get to level 10) is apart of your completion of the game, then good luck with that! I don't regret the time i spent with it, but the online is highly glitchy and more messed up than i even remember. You will probably get fed up with it lol :eek:

Not really true, there's alot less people playing now so the servers seem to be alot less glitchy, they can still be a bit annoying at peak times with disconnects and the like but they are much better.

I originaly gave up trying to get to level 10 because I'd get a 100k come back the next day and the 100k wouldn't show and I'd have to do it all again. AFter like the 5th time that hapened I gave up. When I tried again recently it was fine. In fact I'd come back the next night and i'd have more money because the servers wouldn't have registered it all from the night before so it was like an extra little bonus, but I never seemed to loose any money this time.

The way I did it was just go on to playthrough 2, I did every side quest in my first playthrough but during my second I stuck to just the interesting ones but it was the story realted quests I did mostly, my level 50 came just as I killed the big rakh nest? thinks that's what it was, the big elephant looking thing with the vagina face :D

It's also worth completing playthrough 2 because afterwards every red chest will be upgraded and start giving out lvl 48+ weapons, I farmed some decent ones in preperation for the DLC. It's also handy since the DLC only gives out crappy weapons anyway.

It also might be a good idea for all the borderlands players after the 100% (with DLC) to hold off playing once they reach 50, I hear the new DLC, after Moxxi, is going to raise the level cap. If it goes to 60 I'd assume that will be one of the new trophies and you probably don't want to waste all that xp.
Hopefully it's retroactive and I'll zip right up to level 58 or something as soon as I start playing it but I doubt it :(
