What's up Travis? I just noticed today that they have announced the third season of Sons of Anarchy release date. I'll definitely be picking this one up the day that it's released.

Raiders12 08-04-2011 06:42 PM

SoA season 3 from Amazon.co.uk in October. Waiting to see if it is confirmed region free. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sons-Anarchy...2506480&sr=1-2

Did something I have not done in a while. I fell asleep watching a movie last night. Robin Hood (new), when they went to the beach.

hometheatergeek 08-05-2011 01:13 AM

No really. You fell asleep? http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/con...onfused-31.gif

Amazon.ca is saying Aug 30 for SoA, I wonder why Amazon.uk is so much later.

That final battle is almost 30 minutes long...I think. I need to watch it again.

Just put the BD back on. I nodded it off around the 2 hour mark. Long film 2:35:49.

I have been sitting in the love seat lately, and wife has been occupying the sofa. Last night, I decided to stretch out on the sofa. Bad idea.

US is earlier too. But UK is much cheaper, so I can wait. I really want to see what happens. Season 2 finished with a real cliffhanger, or 2. Also may add The Tudors season 3 to that order.

Just saw a few early reviews (Midnight showings) for RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, & they ALL loved it, gave it 4/5 Ratings, etc.

I was planning to see this later today (1:45 or 2:15pm) but we might be going to the RED SOX / SKANKees game tomorrow night. So, I'd prob have to meet my friend around 4-4:30. It'll more than likely be around 4:30, so the earlier show would prob actually start around 2pm after the 800 previews, get out at 4, then 30 mins back to my house. So, IF I can get up, there are 2 late morning shows instead; 11:20 & 11:50am. I'll see if I can do one of those. Otherwise I'll have to wait til' next Weds. :(

Yep!

Wife is out having dinner with a friend, so I am home getting ready to watch the new Nightmare on Elm Street BD. I like the remake and am not expecting much; curious. Nothing was in the store. Also rented The Island.

Hello.....:)

Travis 08-05-2011 01:20 PM

A Nightmare on Elm Street lost my interest. So back here.

hometheatergeek 08-06-2011 12:37 AM

So Travis how goes Saturday Morning????

Travis 08-06-2011 12:43 AM

Going well. Had 1 cup of coffee, on second. Wife is sleeping so got on the headphones listening to Podcasts. Want to watch more BD concerts today.

Wife came out of the bedroom last night at 12 and turned down Gilmour to -35. Anyway I threw a tantrum. Screaming yelling pulling my hair and lying on the floor kicking and punching the air, not my proudest moment.

She didn't even ask! Just walked down the hall, came into the living room, glanced at me and said, "Its too late." Went to the AVR and turned it down, said, "It is -35dB," and walked away. Thought marriage is supposed to have conversation and compromise.

Can imagine she was probably in the bedroom watching the clock, waiting till 12:00, thinking, "What an a-hole I am married to.":o

All I said during the entire event was, "OK."

PS: You asked what I was doing (in Wabo's thread, perhaps). I'm watching the 1st of a 3-game series with NY at Boston. We're up 2-0 in the 5th, though I'm 45mins behind (had to pause it earlier).

It was okay, had some time to myself this afternoon, watched The Island. Had to have dinner with wife's family. It is rough sometimes; they get drinking and get LOUD. To top it off, when they get in that condition, I can understand even less than usual. Home now and gonna finish Back to the Future Part II and have the only beer that is in the fridge.

How is your weekend going?
