Just watched The Departed, Warner edition from Canada. No different than UK edition that I can tell. Always thought the UK one was too red, thinking now it is because the DVD, which I was used to, was too dim.

I'm gonna try to do some critical comparisons between the audio and picture tomorrow. UK is DTS-HD and US/Can is LPCM, both uncompressed. Thread here said UK has a higher bit rate which should mean better pic, but I do not see it. At least I got a cool SteelBook for my trouble, and sure if I want to sell it, it will be easy.

I just read a thread about crappy packaging from Amazon.ca for steelbooks. What's your experience?

It was fine. Same as US packaging. Had those air bags. Nothing as cool as the German packaging.

How does Amazon.de pack multiple steelies? Can't wait to get my first order from them.

BTW, any idea if the German steelbook of Total Recall the same as the new mind-bending version that just came out?

Tonight will be worse. Just took the dog out. I wish she'd go in the bathroom. It is safe as long as I dodge the flying signage and sheets of corrugated metal.

Well that's one way you can get in your exercise. You know they sell peepee pads. We have one down in our bathroom and Shelby uses it on occasions when we are away from the house for long periods of time or in the middle of the night if he gets an urge.

I've tried newspaper for her, she won't use it. She'll just hold it. Even if she is hoshe'll day, 9-6, she won't go.

If you had started when she was really young then that would have been better.
