Saw Knight and Day; it was okay, but nothing I need to buy.

It was a gift from my friend. He somehow ended up with two copies. :D

That's okay then.

I have managed to get a few extra copies of a few movies. Getting ready to watch my new edition of The Departed, hoping it will be better than the UK edition.

Hey Bill,

Just watched The Departed, Warner edition from Canada. No different than UK edition that I can tell. Always thought the UK one was too red, thinking now it is because the DVD, which I was used to, was too dim.

Getting ready for Let Me In.

The Departed is a great movie, interesting your observations on the PQ.
I like both versions of the "Let Me In/Let the Right One In", enjoy:rock::D

I'm gonna try to do some critical comparisons between the audio and picture tomorrow. UK is DTS-HD and US/Can is LPCM, both uncompressed. Thread here said UK has a higher bit rate which should mean better pic, but I do not see it. At least I got a cool SteelBook for my trouble, and sure if I want to sell it, it will be easy.

I've never order anything from Amazon.ca, do they ship to the US like the European Amazon shops?

I just read a thread about crappy packaging from Amazon.ca for steelbooks. What's your experience?

It was fine. Same as US packaging. Had those air bags. Nothing as cool as the German packaging.

How does Amazon.de pack multiple steelies? Can't wait to get my first order from them.

ManUtd 07-31-2012 05:07 PM

BTW, any idea if the German steelbook of Total Recall the same as the new mind-bending version that just came out?

I'm up! Believe me, I'm up!:D

Didn't sleep more than 2 hours last night. Wind was howling like you read about. And baby had a fever so she was howling too. She is fine now, but I got a headache like you read about. Need more coffee, feel I'm repeating myself.

Tonight will be worse. Just took the dog out. I wish she'd go in the bathroom. It is safe as long as I dodge the flying signage and sheets of corrugated metal.

Well that's one way you can get in your exercise. You know they sell peepee pads. We have one down in our bathroom and Shelby uses it on occasions when we are away from the house for long periods of time or in the middle of the night if he gets an urge.

I've tried newspaper for her, she won't use it. She'll just hold it. Even if she is hoshe'll day, 9-6, she won't go.

If you had started when she was really young then that would have been better.
