Great news! Cannot believe SD has so much competition this year to get the title, and are tied with OAK, actually behind as OAK won every div. game. :faint: AFC West is usually so pathetic SD wins basically by default. The next few games are gonna be interesting.

How's the Brady Bunch looking?

We have a Very tough game this Sunday in Chicago. Temp's going to be 21 or so, winds up to 26+, wind chill reportedly around -6  :ohnoes: Chicago has a VERY Good Defense sure, but thankfully, OUR "D" is playing much better in recent weeks. So, given that Brady is the Best QB in the NFL this year
[Show spoiler](Rivers was Early, but even YOU have to admit, he's been passed by Brady quite a bit, as well as prob. Matt Ryan of Atlanta)
, and Chicago's Jay Cutler is Nowhere near in the same discussion, I'm thinking we have a good shot to win. But, you never know. Cold weather brings on mistakes on Both sides of the ball, so it could get Quite Interesting. It Could be a 20-17 game, or it could be a 2-3 Touchdown margin of victory.

Enjoy the games; wish I could watch them. I'll catch highlights when I wake up tomorrow am.:(

It'll just be Pats game at 4pm; nothing eye-catching at 1pm really. I should have time to throw in (Finally!) a New Blu-Ray. Prob. going to pop in PREDATORS.

Sunday Night (NBC) has a good game though. Philly at Dallas.

Lol - The GIANTS/VIKINGS game has ALREADY been Canceled (20+ Inches of Snow in Minn.!!). They're going to play Monday instead. They might have some snow in Chicago as well.

Sometimes I miss snow; I grew up in Nova Scotia. The thought of driving in snow, shoveling snow, and walking in slush makes me glad I was wearing shorts today.:D No one else is here. They are complaining about the cold. Probably about 70 degrees today. When it gets down to 60 everyone is wearing parkas. I admit the humidity does make it seem chillier than it actually is, and going from 100 over the last few months 70 does seem much cooler.

Enjoy the snow. Do you have to go anywhere today?

Raiders12 12-12-2010 02:54 PM

I want to see my Raiders put up at least 28 on Jax, hopefully McFadden getting his fair load and showing explosiveness.

Don't see OAK winning this game. Sorry!

It should be close though. If I was to guess, I'd say JAGS win by 3, 7 at the most.

You guys have the stronger D, and many say the D is what really counts and blah, blah, blah. But, I gotta feeling JAX digs deep, they need this win more than OAK does. They don't want to fall behind IND.

No plans and just staying home. I'm glad it's Sunday and don't have to do my 120 mile round trip commute to work:whip:

Won't be here for till the weekend. Both are leather. Recliner is dark brown, almost black. Not a La-Z Boy, but 1/2 the price. Very comfortable, can lie almost parallel to the floor, turn 360 degrees, and rocks. Will be in babies room for the next year or so. Sofas are a dark oxblood with some wooden scroll work in arms.

Jets LOST at Home 10-6 to Miami. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::lolcry::lolcry::lolcry:

You KNOW the "San Diego Super-Chargers" () will just let you down. Again.

Check my thread for Pats/Bears info/results.

Then, scroll up a bit as this site has an early review on THE TOWN's blu-ray (it has a TC AND an Ext. Cut, + Director Commentary by Ben Affleck, as I'd hoped). Comes out next Friday (12/17).

Yes, & Yes. Very well-made for his first Directorial effort.

Damn, 7-0 Philly - M. Vick, short little run from about the 3-4 yd line. (at Dallas) :D

Lol - After the TD, VICK ran up to the Goal Post & DUNKED over it. Yea, he's a bit of an Athlete, huh? ;)

Will rent Gone Baby Gone. Never thought about it before. The Town has me interested. Actually, I like Ben. I have Daredevil, Pearl Harbor and Armageddon on BD. On DVD, got Good Will Hunting.

Very tempting, never seen it, sounds like my cup of tea.:D If anything, the soundtrack will make it watchable.

I'd watch Erin Brockovich if The Beatles were playing in the background.

LOL was reading your responses over is Aerodude's thread - Are you sure you haven't started lactating...

Raiders12 12-13-2010 10:16 AM

Morning Travis, excellent win for your Chargers. Unfortunately my Raiders could not sustain their dominance through all 4 quarters...Such an excellent game by Dmac and Campbell to be squandered by fumbled KO and shotty run D.

I cannot believe they (SD) may lose the division title to a team that they just slaughtered. Sure not having the QB was a big factor, but not so much as to give up 31 points.

Getting ready to watch Superman II; watched first last night. III tomorrow, then IV. Then that is that. Got some new BDs that need to be watched.

Cannot believe 10 days till Christmas. Still not ready. Wife gifts, stocking stuffers.

Found a turkey yesterday for $30. Wife's family will be here next Saturday for dinner. Part of me was kinda hoping I didn't find one. Don't really like to have a lot of people in the house. Also means I have to get up early and start cooking, less time for BDs and GT5.

Now have to track down some cranberries.

Almost done 1st cup. Then gonna take dog for a quick run, she runs and I bike. Home for shower then off to work.

It is strange being in the future. Even on Xmas day, I will call family but have to wait 12-16 hours, when it is almost all over here, it is just starting there. Wednesday is here already which is great, after a gruelling day of teaching 2 full classes totalling 3-1/2 hours I can come home and relax.:D
