As far as that style of action movie, it is a 5/5. As movies in general go, it is a 3/5. Some character stuff annoyed me.
[Show spoiler]Seemed to take everyone way too long to figure out that there must be a double.:duh: The girl was never in danger, when Timmy told her he is her only chance, I let out a little snort of amusement.

Morning Travis, Sounds like you liked Hitman. What will be on tonight ?

Like you noted below, overall as a movie, 3 of 5 (barely). AQ was excellent, PQ was decent IIRC.

I can leave school at 1:00; wife or I have to go back at 2:15, then stay for a bit, then back at 4:00. If I can get wife to go today, which I think I can, I can have a matinee.

How is everything with you?

Aerodude73 04-14-2011 06:28 AM

Really. I mean, really?!

You're going with Charlie Sheen's photo & "WINNING!"

I mean, I love that the guy is a nut job or acting it anyway, & is tired of playing a network puppet, has 2 GF's (as with Hugh Hefner's "GF's", I'm sure Charlie's 2 "Goddesses" are also on the payroll ), has a ton of $$$$$ Already in the bank, & stands to make Tens of Millions more with the 187 episodes of 2 1/2 Men he's done thus far when it gets syndicated. But dude, really? :p :D

So you didn't do the BB offer where you bought both CARS & THE INCREDIBLES & got $10 off, then used the 2 Disney MFG Coups' for $18 off total? My total came to $24.78 After tax.:whip:

I plan to watch them this wk-end.

I've got that Batman set also; just haven't got around to watching it yet. :o

Sweet deal! No I didn't Steve. I have had Cars since the first release and I only got the Incredibles from Amazon. What's the difference in the two versions?

Only real difference is the Default audio track is LPCM
[Show spoiler](I heard/read the original one doesn't; you have to remember to Select it :()
, & both this (reissued) CARS & THE INCREDIBLES both have codes inside to enter at Disney Movie Rewards for a print-out of one ticket per to go see CARS 2. I've already printed out my tickets, but I believe my IMAX will have it, so I'll prob. end up giving them away. You have to choose a theater & the ticket is only redeemable at the one you select (per the barcode prob.), which means I'll give it to a friend locally more than likely.

Really? You sure buddy? I know in the CARS Thread (under the Movies section) for this new release, I didn't recall seeing that posted (unless I missed it, which is entirely possible). Hmmmm, weird... :(

** From the above (CARS) thread **

Slight change from previous releases

Hey, guys. I just started watching the 2011 re-release to replace my scratched disc, and I just wanted to verify a few changes from the previous releases (2007 and 2009).

1. Movie trailers included on 2011 version are The Incredibles on Blu-ray and Cars 2.
2. (Very minor, but pleasing to me) On previous releases, to get the LPCM Uncompressed audio, you had to toggle through the menu and manually select that option, since the Dolby Digital track was the default track on those releases. On this 2011 version, The LPCM track is now the default selected audio.
Hooray for laziness!

All I know is i had to go into the menu when after I started the movie and change it. I had the Display up on the screen and the PS3 said it was Dolby Digital 5.1 and i was like what?!?!

When I toggled the menu and saw the LCPM Uncompressed Audio option i clicked it and it sounded way better.

Hmmm, maybe that's a PS3 "glitch" if you will (), per that guy's post above. Oh well, I'll find out soon enough when I pop it in this week! :)
