Hello Aero. Thanks for the acknowledgement.
You know buddy, I try my very best to buy catalog BD's for as close to the $10.00 mark as possible. Especially when I already have the movie in standard format. I'm up to 150 movies with an average cost of $11.49. Now I must qualify that with admitting that coupons play a very big role in my ability to keep my average cost down. Timing is also crucial. The coupons have to available at same time a big price reduction is in play. The most I've spent on a single BD is $34.00 for the Canadian steel book "Gladiator". I definitely try to keep the over $20.00 purchases to a minimum.
As far as the series movies are concerned, I'm waiting for the pricing to drop for each movie to $9.99 like the Harry Potter series.
The Die Hard Series (I have LFDH)
The Fast and the Furious Quadrilogy (I have the 4th one)
The POTC Trilogy + the newest upcoming release
The Bourne Trilogy
The Blade Trilogy
Spiderman Trilogy (I have Spidey 3)
The Matrix Trilogy
LOTR's Extended
Star Trek OS 1-6
Star Trek Next Gen. 7-10 (I have 1st Contact and ST 2009)
Star Wars (Pre-Ordered)
Toy Story 1 and 2
and of course, Shrek 1, 2 and 3. :D
That list alone is a lot of $$$$$$! So patience is a virtue. I believe they will all be obtainable for $9.99 at some point or another. ;)
BTW, your collection is phenomenal!

Hey Buddy - Here you go. The
Fast/Furious movies, per
THIS Thread, are $8.99 @ "TARGET". --- Also, like you, I Pre-Ordered the
STAR WARS (Complete Saga!) & the
LOTR Ext. Trilogy a few weeks ago at
Barnes & Noble
But, was able to Pre-Order BOTH with seperate 50% OFF Coupons, so EACH Set came to UNDER $48!! (SW: $47.93, LOTR: $44.53):whip:  :D
But, like you, I "try" to buy BD's for as little as possible (usually anything $12 & Under is good) - Like with the recent (re-) release of
CARS (with Movie Cash for "CARS 2") &
THE INCREDIBLES at
Best Buy, after their $10 off for buying both & each one having Disney MFG Coups', my TOTAL for both was only
$24.78 (After taxes!). So a bit over $12 for 2 excellent sets was a tremendous deal. Btw - in My thread, I did a review of
"THE INCREDIBLES" yesterday.
Long story (review) short,
My Final Numbers: Movie: 5 of 5, Video: 5 of 5, Audio: 10 of 10 !!!!:whip:  :jawdrop: (Trust me: It has one of the most Well-Rounded & Impeccably Detailed Incredible Audio tracks EVER. Be it Animation, Live-ACTION, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Western, doesn't matter. Yes, it Is THAT GOOD. Trust me).:D

Hey Lawrence. -- That's a great list. And yes, patience is a virtue. However, by the time Star Wars hits $9.99, blu-ray will no longer exist and we'll be getting movies implanted directly into our cerebral cortex. ;)
