Yeah the other avatar looked a little boring. I thought I'd let one of my klan get some free publicity. So now Shelby (GT Mustang) gets to be in the spot light for a spell.

Besides watching Tron: Legacy this weekend... :p lol :p ... you got any other plans?

What it is, HTG.:shades:

There's a picture on the front page of the paper today of Tuscaloosa, Al. and the town is just gone. I mean, it's gone, man! Totally devastated. I'm glad you, Bill and all our Southern blu-ray friends are okay.

Shelby deserves to be in the spotlight. Pacino had his 15 minutes.;)

Well, I do plan on watching Legacy this weekend. With or without my kids. Git-r-done. Other than that I don't know what plans she made for us. I would like to fire up the grill at least once this weekend.:ohnoes:

What about you? Any big plans?

Hello Guys.

Virtually every blu-ray I purchase is from my local Best Buy.

Not to start a store vs store controversy, but I'm not a fan of Best Buy. They are so rinky-dink in their policies and store operations. Perhaps it's because their HQ is located here. I dunno. For example, everytime I try and use one of the Disney $10 off coupons, there's always a struggle at Best Buy. It's never easy. Now at Target, there's never a problem. I'm in and out. Slick as goose poop. I'm in and out. In and out, baby!

Yes amigo my kitchen faucet started to leak. So I narrowed it down to either a O-rink that needs to be replaced or I might just have to replace the faucet. If I was smart and saved all of the paperwork (from 10 year ago) I could have gotten the parts for free since it was a Moen faucet which comes with a lifetime warranty but alas I am idiot and that didn't happen. So my Saturday is busy. But I am looking forward to your review of Tron: Legacy. And yes Shelby is having a grand old time knowing that thousands of ppl are looking at his mug shot. Enjoy your weekend and you should put your foot down and demand family time in the WABO's HT this weekend.

What's up, HTG?

Well, the weekend is winding down. Where do they go and why do they go so fast?:shrug2:

Hopefully it's just the O-ring causing your faucet to leak. A .50 cent part is a lot better than a whole new faucet.:ohnoes: Lol. I feel your pain, brotha. I don't keep the paperwork for that stuff either.:D

My kid had a track meet today. It was sooooo cold out there. A few snowflakes actually made an appearance. I needed the

Ok, let me get this out there now (zipping up flame resistant suit) I didn't get a chance to watch Tron: Legacy this weekend.:panic: I did watch Iron Man though. I forgot how awesome the LFE is in that movie. So how's that gallery of yours coming along?;)

ldgibson76 05-02-2011 02:11 AM

Good Evening Jeff.

That's funny!:D I didn't watch TRON either. I did watch "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows" and "Shrek Forever After".

Have you watched the Deathly Hallows yet? I don't know how much darker this series can get.

Shrek FA was pretty entertaining, but,.... I think they've gotten all they can out of that series. :p

I kept looking at the TRON cover, but for some reason, I just wasn't motivated to watch it.

I really just want the 1st Shrek on BD. Only 3rd and 4th are out here.

Your mission was to watch Tron which entails removing the shrink wrap and placing said movie into the BDP-93 :whip: Not to take the easy way and rewatch a movie you have already seen. LOL

You did better then me. I actually struck out. X X X :(

It was not an O-ring, it was where the pull out sprayer/faucet connected to the hose. I bought a universal replacement hose that would not work  So I will need to go back next weekend (leaving town for a couple days this week) and buy a new faucet. Strike one. I did not get to watch a movie. Strike two. And as you can see no gallery yet. :o Strike three.

I did get some much needed yard work done so not a complete failure.

I actually had Tron in my hand yesterday afternoon and was going to watch it a second time but realized time wise it would conflict with Sunday afternoon chores. Let's hope next weekend can be more fruitful.

Good mornin', Lawrence.

Lol. Maybe we're just not meant to watch Legacy.:D I wanted to. But I'm getting the kids ready to see Thor in the theater. And they've never seen Iron Man, so I figured they needed a little background info. There's some method to my madness.

I saw Deathly Hallows in the theater. Sadly, my BD copy is still sealed. The movies are starting to back up again.:ohnoes: What did you think of the latest Potter?

I thought the first and last Shrek were the best. Plus, ya gotta give it up for the 7.1 audio that big green ogre is rockin'.

Good morning, HTG.:coffee:

Lol. I had every intention of watching Legacy. See the above reply to Lawrence for my reason (excuse) why I was unable to complete the task at hand. Speaking of missions and tasks at hand, I'm not seeing a HTG gallery.:shrug2:

That sucks about your faucet.:( Sounds quite frustrating. I hate doing plumbing. The Mrs makes sure the kids aren't around because my plumbing adventures usually turn R rated quickly.:D

Good to hear you're in the yard getting it cleaned up. Feel free to stop over here with your rake.:whip:

Is your trip out of town for business or pleasure? Hopefully it's for the latter. Snap some pics of your HT, bring your laptop along, and get that gallery up!:p

Jeff, you have to understand the cause Russ' grumpiness! He ordered a Yamaha CDC-600 from Audioholics and they pulled a fast one on him and didn't notify him that the changer was on back-order! Just poor business ediquette! Russ was so excited about finding this CD changer, especially for the fact that instead of the S-Bit dac's Yamaha usually employs in their changers, this one has Burr Brown Dac's! So, you have to believe our friend is truly bumming right now.:( I feel for him. I'm sure he will get his retribution soon! :shakefist:

I am pretty good at doing plumbing work that was why it sucked. I took a strike on that job. I should have stuck with the orginal plan and bought a faucet while I was there as a backup plan. My wife said "you have enough other things to do today" so the second trip to HD will be Sat.

So anyone in the room that has gone to a Home Improvement store and not had to return to the store... the same day... do to unforseen issues... or bone head moves... please raise your hand now!

The trip is for work, I need to get equipment from a sister site and return the next morning for a total of 16+ hours of drive time. FL and GA state patrol tend to frown on posting on website with laptop in a moving vehicle.

Wabo, I'm starting to feel the same way about view TRON. Maybe I just can't get over how (IMO) chessy the first on was. I thought it was chessy when it first came out, and I haven't soften my position on the matter!:shakefist: So maybe there is an unconscious mental block in play!

I wish I had a son that I could share the Marvel and DC Universe with. My daughter's think I'm nuts, and immature mind you, for still indulging such adolescent and childish material!:p :shrug2:
But I do have to say that my oldest daughter did enjoy the XMen Saga and Dark Knight. My youngest just will not even make an attempt to watch any comic driven movie!

THOR looks to be pretty good. It has a lot to live up to after the IM and IM2. What's interesting is, these comic based movies are either ridiculously awesome, or ridicuously awful!

The Deathly Hallows was very captivating. It has gone completely dark! I mean, the concept of death has gone from what could happen to it's happening on the consistent! I can tell you this, DH was so intriguing that Deathly Hallows 2 will set records!

Shrek FA was enjoyable. Puss-in-Boots just cracked me up! Rumple was funny too! I was also pleasantly surprised with the 7.1 DTHD audio. My little RS25 center rear was pretty active during the Orge and witch battle ate the Rumple's castle!

Yeah, Monday mornings have that effect on me also.

Well I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is I finally secured the Denon DVD-3930CI. I should receive that late next week. Bad news, I think I may have a termite problem. I'm not sure 100%. but I'm seeing some damage that's not too promising!:( First the A/C, now the possibility of pestilence! I can'T believe this is happening. Just when I'm finally in a position to upgrade my aging components, I have to deal with this BS!:eyebrow::unimpressed::bitenails: I'm hoping that the damage isn't too severe. We used to have an ant problem in our area, and for the most part, still do. In the neighborhood, we all employ counter measures to stave off infiltration of the ants and we've kept them at bay, but this new enemy will be tough to deal with. I will talk to some of the neighbors and see if they have detected anything that may look like termite damage.

Hehe. That was a great

excuse. In fact, phase two was implemented this evening. We watched The Incredible Hulk. I forgot how awesome the LFE is in this movie. I really think I'm causing structural damage to my house. We're getting closer to seeing Thor. My kids got a kick out of seeing the crossover from Stark Industries and then of course the appearance of the man himself. I'm hoping my local IMAX will be showing Thor. Right now they're showing that Fast & Furious 5. I can't believe they made five of them. I thought one was too many.;)

Lol. I think every man who's tried any type of home repair has made multiple trips to the hardware store. You cracked me up. I can just envision you and the wrong faucet hose.http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/BBS/i...oredsmilie.gif

It's supposedly going to warm up here as the week goes on. Come July we'll be complaining about how hot it is.:D

I do supposed the state patrol frowns on surfing the internet while driving. They're always looking for more "donations" to the state. Have fun & safe travels, amigo.

How was your Monday?

I actually like the original Tron.:o Yeah, it's cheesy. But I like the cheese. I even enjoy those really bad B movies on the Syfy channel.:shh: However, the timing just hasn't been right to watch Legacy.:shrug2: Tonight would be good, but I need to watch some shows on my DVR. It's getting full again.:ohnoes:

On the superhero bright side, at least your oldest daughter enjoyed the X-Men and Batman movies. There's still hope.:D

I'm a Potter fan. Yes, I've even read all the books.:nerd: We're looking forward to DH pt 2 this summer.
