Now that took some time. Impressive, my friend. So what movie(s) do you have lined up? By the looks of it Cutthroat Island.;)

I'm not sure what we will watch this weekend. Probably close my eyes and grab one off the shelf.

Hey Jeff,

How's your Friday going mi amigo? Yeah I agree that Falling skies isn't a total disaster. I mean I have kept up with it from the first episode onward. But so far it just hasn't really grown on me. I'm not going to ditch it just yet, and will tune into the next season. Maybe I'll get hooked.:)

It's been years since I've seen that movie. Looking forward to watching it. I bet those audiophile CDs sound fantastic on your system. Turn 'em up! I loves me some rotisserie chicken. There's a restaurant here that makes a rotisserie chicken sandwich. Starting to get hungry.;)

I'm fascinated with the ancient Egyptians and their culture too. Apparently Egypt’s Ministry of State for Antiquities doesn't let ol' King Tut out that often. So I had to see it with thine own eyes. My wife and kids went to the Dead Sea Scrolls when they were here. I didn't make it to that one.

I'm not sure if I'm going tubing with them or not. I may just stay home, put my feet up and enjoy some rare solitude for awhile.:D

The Sting, now that's one that I haven't seen in over 20 years. Is that one available on Blu-ray?

Yeah well mastered Audiophile CD's sound pretty darn good. But you know that as your system is very revealing as well.:)

Yeah a rotisserie done right is Mmm Mmm good! If I do make a rotisserie I'll be sure to share some pics.

If you do get to take some pics of 'ol King Tut that'll be cool. And it's nice that you'll get to see it all in person. I don't think I've ever seen any Egyptian artifacts in real life. Sounds like fun.

Hey Al,

Cutthroat Island has always been one of my all time favorites.:) I had it on LD, then on DVD, and now on Blu-ray. While the movie has always been a fun one, the PQ was always one of the worst I owned. Not anymore, as the Blu-ray is leaps and bounds better than the DVD and LD. The image is crisp and colors are vibrant! And the DTS-HD MA is AWESOME!!

Is this the first time you're seeing it on Blu-ray?

We just watched the last two episodes. At least they kicked it up a notch. I am also looking to see where they go with the new season. Me, Seth and Jeff are sticking together boys regardless waht you say about FS.

What's shaking, Zeph?

It's been at least 20 years or longer since I've seen The Sting too. It's not on blu-ray yet. But I just had a hankerin' to see it. So I rented the DVD.:o

You know I'm a fan of the audiophile CDs. Nothing like good quality music.

Went to the King Tut exhibit and was able to sneak a couple of pics.:shh: They had museum employees everywhere. But I busted out my mad ninja skills and took a few pics.:ninja:

The Sting is great. Need it on Blu-ray. Only a few DVDs left I NEED to replace (in signature). May watch the DVD this weekend too.

Yeah Susanna Hoffs was smokin'! Even if I didn't care for all of their music, I usually watched their videos on MTV back in the 80's just to see her. And even now after all these years she still looks good at 52.

Because she is hot! Did you guys ever see The All Nighter? An 80's movie she starred in. It's not on blu, and probably never will be. But I just happen to own the DVD.:p

Holy Toledo, is she really 52 now?

What an incredible cast. This should really be on blu. Looking forward to watching it even in standard def.

Hi Jeff,

The Sting really deserves a Blu-ray release. There are so many really good films that have never made it to Blu-ray. Off the top of my head I wish they would bring the following to Blu-ray:

True Lies
The Abyss
ET
Always
Terminal Velocity
Powder
The 13th Warrior (US release)
As Good As It Gets
Bad Boys II
Breakdown
Executive Decision

So you were able to sneak in a few pics. Very cool! Looking forward to seeing them.:)

You know I've never seen it!:o I need to check it out.:) Yeah she's 52 now, but from the pics I've seen she looks really good for her age.
