It's just one of the many things I haven't gotten around to. Yes, on the Stator panels the sound comes both ways. I used to have two throw pillows behind my center, and they act just like an acoustic panel. Just don't look as nice. However, the last time I ran Audyssey, I did it without the pillows. Still sounds pretty damn good. But I should probably rerun it with the pillows again. Just too lazy. I also would like to get some corner bass traps too. But that's another story... :D

Hey Wabo,

Got a PPP question, do you always keep the Perfect Wave function on?

Found another used black PPP, the seller has it overpriced by about $200 I think. May make an offer on it of what I think is the correct price.

Do you mean Multi Wave? If so, yes, I keep it on. I also periodically do the Clean Wave too.

Way cool on finding another black PPP. Here's hoping the seller needs the cash and accepts your offer.

Your Stinkies have now been out-scored 12-4 in their first two games against one of the worst teams in the league. At least the draft is only 19 days away now.

Too many Waves to keep them all straight.:o Haven't used the Clean Wave yet, does it really do anything?

Hopefully they'll accept the offer, this one isn't that far away from me and they want more than I paid for the one I have shipped all the way from Cali. Time will tell I guess.

Have you tried pulling your center all the way out to the edge of your stand?

We'll end up finishing 160-2 then.:p

You may hear very subtle differences after performing a Clean Wave. It's basically degaussing all components plugged into. They say this should be done periodically as magnetism builds up over time with usage.

Ok, so you have the pillows behind it now? I know it sounds good...

Have you noticed a difference with the pillows and without? I should have been buying me some panels instead of the amps..

My amp install is just plan opposite of everyone else’s way and thoughts, but I have an idea it may work.

Good evening, Factor.

Yeah, that movie rocks.

Was supposed to fill plastic eggs with jelly beans. Opened the bag and the damn beans shot out all over the kitchen. So I had to sample a few to make sure they're still ok.

No, I don't have pillows back there right now.:o Been lazy. What can I say? I'm actually thinking of putting it back on it's stand and angling it up a bit. I removed it thinking it might be too tall and interfere with the screen. But I think I can make it work. Martin Logan recommends using the stand. Which will mean another Audyssey run.

Buying amps is way more fun than panels. You have the amps now, the panels will follow.

Here's a stock pic of the aforementioned center channel on the stand.

Me too.

Will you have an Easter egg hunt and basket or Michelle? Or this a holiday the Taiwanese people sit out?

HAMP 04-08-2012 08:07 AM

That pic and the pic on your gallery doesn't do that center channel justice, when I seen it on person, I could not believe how large that thing is.

I really want to put the panels up when I enclose the room.

I'm not sure why I haven't done the room yet.

At school tomorrow, we will hide plastic eggs and let the kids hunt for them. We will also dye some eggs. Michelle will participate with them.

TheFactor 04-08-2012 08:03 PM

Happy Easter Wabo !! :)

Happy Easter Wabo, hope you didn't get trampled by too many kids while you were egg hunting. Your Stinkies are now 0-3 and been out-scored 15-5 in their first 3 games, either need to find their bats or fix the pitching. Right now I see us headed to another last place finish.

hometheatergeek 04-08-2012 11:44 PM

Hoppy Easter Wabo.

What's going on, Hamp-the-amp-man?

You're right, the pics don't convey just how large a center channel it really is. Did you audition one?

Lol. If you're like me, I get these ideas of what I want to do in my HT room. But it takes me forever, if at all, to act on them. I have faith, your room will get done.
