I rated it in it's thread. I gave it a solid 3/5. I would have given it a 3.5, but that's not an option.

Cool vids.

Just a 3 of 5? Wow, that's average - right in the middle :ohnoes:.

So it wasn't what you had hoped? Decent action, good story or no? How was the 3D? I've read (in barely skimming that thread) that the 1st hour is a bit slow (at times) but the 2nd half picks up quite a bit.

KISS unveil ‘Hell or Hallelujah’ Lyric Video - Click HERE.

Quote:

KISS keep rolling out ‘Hell or Hallelujah’ as their next single in increments. First there was the artwork, which was followed by a snippet posted online. Then earlier this week came the full audio of the track. Now there’s a lyric video to go along with the single.

The video is interesting if for no other reason than the fact that KISS packed it with images past and present, including, interestingly enough, the solo album covers from former members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

The lyrics speed across the screen, which itself seems like it was cut straight like the old highway safety training films of the ’70s with plenty of film scratches and edit points giving it that classic feel.

For fans of the band, the lyric clip is filled with plenty of iconic imagery and should be a fun watch. ‘Hell or Hallelujah’ is the lead single off of the ‘Monster‘ album, which is now expected in October.

Stinkies on a season high 5 game winning streak and winners of 7 of their past 10 but I don't see them beating one of the best pitchers in the game tomorrow, especially with Duensing taking the mound. I do think we'll win Thursday though, so we'll be 6-2 in our last 2 series against the Royals and the Tigers, which will go a long way towards getting us out of the cellar.

This is the sensitive, emo Spidey. The first hour did drag, with a bit too much brooding (thanks Twilight:shakefist:), it eventually picked up. Denis Leary was himself as the surly police Captain. But paled in comparison to JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. I do prefer Garfield as Peter Parker over Tobey's. But this movie just didn't grab me. It was middle of the road. The 3D wasn't that impressive. Which is weird because this film was shot in 3D. Not post converted.

When are you seeing it?

Aerodude73 07-04-2012 06:30 AM

JK Simmons is usually good, but to ME, he tends to do the same over-acting character, be it in film, tv, or regular commercials. "Change your shirt once in a while JK!"

The 3D - even in the regular (on TV/or theater trailers) - Appeared like it'd look Fantastic, with objects coming at you, Spidey swinging toward you

JK Simmons nails J. Jonah Jameson. Cracks me up.

There are certain scenes that work really well in 3D. But overall, you won't miss anything if you see this in 2D. Why don't you go and see it and then we'll talk.:whip:
