I went against my pledge from 5 years ago and found the '06 Limited Editions on amazon for a solid price today.

I will own the theatrical cuts of the Original Trilogy but I'll probably never watch them.

With the release of this Blu Ray set, I just wanted to complete my Star Wars home video collection. You can't complete it without some form of the theatrical cuts of the Original Trilogy.

-'06 Limited Edition with the Special Editions ('04) and the theatrical cuts.
-'11 Blu Ray Edition.
-'01, '02, and '05 Prequel DVD releases.

I'm done with Star Wars on home video. Three different cuts for the Original Trilogy should be good for the rest of my days...no?

Um, Kevin Smith has spoken about the outrage. It's on TMZ....watching it now.

They also neglected to mention the inclusion of the commentaries (on the Special Edition discs) and the Lego Star Wars previews.

Just fast forward. He says who cares and its lucas' movies to do with what he wants. He also says that lucas is making changes for the future generations: which I would agree.
