Yes. It's part of the one and a half hour spoof collection on Disc 9.

Right! And don't forget to set the Dynamic Volume Compression to max on your receiver to maximize the AQ as it was intended, as well.

[Show spoiler]NOT!

Holy mother!!! NOoooooo, they dropped whistle? Especially when so many songs on the radio these days having whistling in them.

I was fine with everything else but this, I just canceled all of my orders

Please lets try to have an on topic, civilized discussion about the release. Buying or not is a personal decision and trying to enforce a particular opinion on everyone is not going to work ;).

Am I missing something from the movies? How is Young Anakin any more recognizable to Luke than Old Anakin? I'd imagine the Shaw version would be more recognizable to Luke since he did see Vader unmasked albeit scarred and bald. Even so, I'm sure Luke isn't dumb as a rock to not realize who the third Jedi spirit is. And also why wouldn't Yoda and Obi-Wan know it's Anakin? Since the movies show that they have very sharp senses. Even Vader felt Obi-Wan's presence without seeing him in A New Hope.

First of all: "logic" is not the most important thing when dealing with life after death or spirits. Luke "feels" his fathers spirit more than simply recognizing his facial features. The scene is more poetic now with Hayden Christensen playing it. The scene is a metaphor that illustrates two important points.
1) Anakin is restored to his jedi-self and freed from the prison of his inflated Vader-persona.
2) Luke is now aware of the spirit-world - A knowledge even the jedi in their heyday didn't have and that he will very likely incorporate in his teachings to the next generation.

The Sebastin Shaw version is more likely not to be recognized by Luke - or by Yoda and Obi-Wan for that matter... Old Anakin in Jedi-robes? That's some kind of alternate-reality version. Why isn't he burned and in Vader-Armor in spirit form? Anakin died at the end of Episode 3 and was trapped inside the Vader-persona.

Both young and old could logically work, I just want them to fix the execution and Christensen looking in the same direction as Guiness and the muppet. All of them should probably be more ethereal and probably naked (though masked by sparklies or probably better off faded away from the face/chest area but whatever SFX could be suitable), especially since two of the three shed their clothes when they disappeared and attained zen (or whatever the Jedi equivalent is).

My status hasn't changed... still "hasn't shipped."

Exactly! That also explains why Leia "remembers" her mother.

Lol, no they don't. The blu-ray rips that leaked look absolutely flawless, it's really hard to tell the difference between the digital file and the blu-ray itself.

Just wondering if there are any special versions or incentives for buying from a particular retailer, or if there is a thread dedicated to this topic, thanks!

Well from your original post, it seemed like what you were talking about was physical appearances so I was merely pointing that out. While I can see that point of view of having him look like when he was still a Jedi, I feel there is a stronger emotional impact when we see Shaw in Jedi robes as the "fallen Jedi" who redeemed himself instead of just reverting to the good young Jedi Anakin.

+1! THANK YOU! I alway see people complaining how the prequels created a plot hole because Padme died after child birth but in the OT leia says she remembers her mother. This is the answer right here.

Whew!!

Finally made it to the end! I'm all caught up!!

About 3 or 4 sentences of real substance in this whole mess! Thank you to those who offered legitimate, substantiated information. To the extreme haters and extreme lovers (I almost HATE to be such a LOVER after reading BOTH sides of this war)...

It's almost Star Wars Blu Ray Day!!!!!!

Best Buy has a Darth Vader T-Shirt.
Target has a set of 8 Lithographs.
Wal-Mart has a poster of Boba Fett on a Boga-like mount.

Okay, I can understand that. That's a matter of personal taste... To me Young Anakin is a stronger image... We saw the burned up, rotten and aged body a couple of scenes before. The young, uncorrupted jedi-hero is a stronger contrast to the zombie-like creature from before. When you watch the movies in chronological order it's about 6 hours at this point that you haven't seen Hayden as Anakin. Seeing him in this short scene reminds me instantly of his tragedy and salvation...
