"Yippeeeeee!" did it for me.

LOL ya.. the bad dialogue, many pointless scenes and Jar Jar Binks. But naaaahhhh... lets touch up the background on Naboo because as we all know that was the biggest problem with the film. Talk about putting lipstick on a pig... :p

Oh, isn't that what an innocent kid would say?

Oh, sorry, we knew he's going to become friggin' Darth Vader, and therefore it's entirely inappropriate, right?

I really don't see what's wrong with Yipee.

The beeches on the other hand....:p ;)

You get the Baghdad Bob award for best spin of the year. The "Hayden Christenson is a welcome addition to Return of the Jedi" is a nice touch. ;)

That would be great :), but unfortunately it's not the case. :(
We all have something we don't entirely agree with, but I can live with it, and I love both the OT as well as the PT. :)

There is bad dialogue in TPM?

Pointless scenes?

What's wrong with Jar Jar?

I love that dude! :)

Maybe you were watching a different film? :p :D

You must be in the wrong thread or talking about something else because Hayden Christenson is not in Return Of The Jedi. Hayden Christensen is of course but that is a different person then Hayden Christenson.

As for those who love the prequels or the special edition being paied by Lucas to say so on the Internet  Maybe James Cameron is paying you to post in every Star Wars thread to say it's bad? See I can also make ridiculous claim :D What do you care if people like the special edition or the prequels? Does it really affect you that much? Does it bother you so much that people enjoy something you don't? Must be a very lonely life you got :p

No. I do it for free and for the love of Star Wars. :D He is thinking of giving me a free Star Wars Blu-Ray set 6 months before the general release.

I believe all future wars will not be based on Religious or Political differences, but which version of Star Wars is the correct one.

Someday long after his death, the Lucas Estate(tm) will open a Star Wars version of a Build-a-Bear Workshop where you can go through an assembly line and build your own versions of the films and they'll put them on disc for you. Then we'll be able to pick and choose the best elements of all versions.

[x] original entrance into Mos Eisley
[ ] zany jawa slapstick entrance

[x] Han shoots first
[ ] Greedo shoots first

[ ] Han meets Jabba
[x] No Jabba scene

[ ] Original Death Star attack effects
[x] "Special Edition" attack effects

Nah, they're most likely Trekkies, LOTR followers, or relatives of Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, or any one else in the original who are upset that the PT turned out better. Just sayin. ;)

I was proposing something like about a hundred pages ago, I think. That's the only way EVERYONE will ever be happen. Some super seamless branching that will have the guys doing the score going into convulsions. :D

Lucas wouldn't be happy though. And his is the only opinion that really matters.

Yes! For the love of The Force people; stop having unauthorized opinions.

MCT 10-19-2010 10:26 PM

sometimes I wonder if Beast is Lucas' very own, real-life Lobot.

yes, I know who and what Lobot is. Proof that I still love Star Wars and that at one point I was a total SW dork.

Was? :p Seems like you still are. Your raped childhood is just making it hard for you to admit. :D

MCT 10-20-2010 05:29 AM

naaaah. If I were still a SW dork I'd be salivating for three piss poor movies in HD and the originals with cartoony effects added in. I'll support good SW stuff like KOTOR, though.
