Hi Troy, I really like what you have done to the yard. It looks like your hard work is paying off. You have what they call "curb appeal" now. Hope you have a good rest of the week. :)

Thanks HTG - now if I could only give myself some "curb appeal" to help attract the ladies... sigh. :(

Use the green Habanero sauce as cologne. I dab or two on the neck and the ladies be throwin' themselves at you!

Fun!

I had a procedure like that, not sure the name, didn't get knocked out. Anyway, I know what it is like to get abducted by aliens. Since my Chinese is pretty much shit, no pun intended, being on the table with people around be speaking gibberish while probing has to be like a very close encounter of the third kind. Not a fond memory.

Good Sunday Morning big guy. I see there has not been much activity on your thread so I thought I would do a drive by http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...forum/bump.gif this morning.

FREYMAX 3D 06-26-2011 02:54 PM

Hey, HTG - actually, my HT thread here is busier now than it has been for quite awhile - usually pretty dormant, Zzzz! My "Kettle-style popcorn carts" thread has been pretty active lately though, been posting a good bit over there, too...

Finally got to watch Battle: LA on Friday night - I loved it, but my mother hated it. Too much action and not enough Sci-fi for her, I guess. oh well.

I did not hate BLA, but I didn't like it that much. More Sci-fi would have been better. Too much action, definitely. And the father/son, brother/dead brother/sergeant emotional stuff wasn't needed either. BLA was a bit blah for me.:p

I agree, that part was pretty bad - my mother was laughing at the dialogue during that "emotional" scene...

FREYMAX 3D 06-27-2011 12:50 PM

My oldest daughter's old 40GB PS3 died about two weeks ago, it needs a new laser assembly in the Blu-ray drive, which will cost anywhere from $70 to $90 for the part, not to mention spending the time to tear apart the PS3 and the Blu-ray drive itself to install it. I decided to pick up a replacement unit for my girls to use at my house instead, and repair the old one later at my leisure, and then they can take that one to their mother's house to use (I'll let their mother pay for the part, heheh... ;)).

Anyway, I picked up a slightly used 120GB PS3 Slim off eBay for $250 from a seller living close-by in Baltimore - they had bought it for their 6 year old daughter for Christmas and she played it 2 or 3 times and didn't like it. SO, it was in mint condition when I got it via UPS on Friday - plus it came with Sonic the Hedgehog and Little Big Planet discs for the girls, too.

I use the PS3 for watching Blu-rays on the 52" Aquos in the livingroom, so I had a vested interest in getting something in place in a timely manner... The old Playstation was a Christmas present for my oldest daughter a few years back - but this one is totally mine, Bwahahahaha!!!

FREYMAX 3D 06-27-2011 04:42 PM

Grabbed a copy of "The Island" Blu-ray from Walmart today for $15, been waiting a long time for that one to finally be released on Blu...

FREYMAX 3D 06-29-2011 04:51 PM

Afternoon, Bill! Beautiful day here today, humidity dropped way down overnight, sunny and low 80's today and tomorrow. Then it gets hot and humid for the Holiday weekend - perfect time for swimming in my parent's pool!

My girls and I watched Harry Potter 5 Order of the Phoenix last night before they left for their Mother's house. Only two more movies to go and they'll be ready for the grand finally in IMAX 3D! We'll probably watch the last two over the weekend...:cool:

bz1080p 06-30-2011 03:51 PM

Good morning Troy:)
Yes get that yard work out of the way for the holiday weekend:rock:

FREYMAX 3D 06-30-2011 06:13 PM

Ha! Yardwork is never done... :o

Getting a permit and making site preparations for installing a new garden shed in my backyard, gonna be a 10x14 shed that looks something like this, except white with black trim, to match my house:

FREYMAX 3D 07-01-2011 02:35 PM

LOL, well, if I put the theater in the shed, I'd have to keep the tractor mower in the basement - which would create some access issues getting it in and out every week... ;) :D
