I would think a lot of that stuff is getting harder to find, now that the series ended almost two years ago... Years ago there was a slew of BSG memorabilia out there - and some of it was VERY expensive...

Ok, help me out here. Im gonna try to swing into Blockbuster to see if I can rent one of these BSG season discs, when i look on their site there is season 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 4.5, The Plan, and Razor. then there is one that doesn't have any season on it, from 2003.

Where do i start?

http://www.blockbuster.com/search/pr...star+galactica

link just in case you want to see what Im talking about.

FREYMAX 3D 12-08-2011 05:05 PM

The first thing you need to see is the 2-part Miniseries, I thought the date on that was 2005, but the 2003 one you mentioned has to be it... Then all the seasons in a row, except Razor is watched between Season 3 and Season 4.0. The Plan is watched AFTER you've seen the entire series, it is a bunch of recap/spoiler extras. This order:

2-Part Miniseries
Season 1
Season 2.0
Season 2.5
Season 3
Razor
Season 4.0
Season 4.5
The Plan

They are in order, kinda.. lol

2003 - Miniseries
1
2
2.5
3
Razor - It goes back, and if in order, it's part of season two
4
4.5
The Plan

for me to suggest, do you plan to really watch it, or kinda want to see whats it's all about?

If your gonna just watch it, then start with the Miniseries
If your not sure, and what to see how the writers right, PQ, AQ, then check out Razor. Razor will not spoil the series, but gives you an idea of the flow.

You won't be sorry. Once you get going, you will want to watch 4 or 5 episodes in one sitting - be prepared for more than a few un-planned late-night viewing marathons 'till 3am... ;)

im gonna watch it, see if its something Ill be into or not. I vaguely remember the show from when I was a kid, and liked it way back then, but when these came out, I was just graduating college, and I was trying to get in my wifes pants, not watch TV. So Ill just try it out to see if its something thats for me or not.... then from there, if I like it enough, Ill buy it on DVD/blu-ray.

The new, Re-imaged series is miles beyond the original show from the 1970's -they are totally different animals. The original is more campy fun, whereas the new series is a very dark and extremely intense drama...

you know I barely remember the original series... I was like 6 when those aired... but I remember liking the A-team guy and the ships they had.... thats about as much as I even remember... so you see why I am a little aloof about the series in general.

I understand you getting out there to do your thang, and this show was on at the worst possible time to be in the house. On a friday evening, Yet I was so into it, I was home on those fridays.
