3 years....during the "quiet" time...85' to 88'. I needed money for college, so I got it and left after 3 years (you could enlist for just 3 years back then.) I do have pics to prove it, but there are all at home. :)

Well, as far as the theater room goes, I wanted to do a lot of preparartion for our get together, but this dang cold had me so run down this week I didn't have the energy to get anything done... so tonight and tomorrow morning I will just clean up things as well as possible, should be good enough for just us guys. I was hoping to work on my ground loop hum on my LFE channel, don't know if I'll have time for that either, so we may have to live with that on Saturday. No biggie, you can't hear it once the movie starts anyway...

No problem Troy...we all have some little things we deal with in our own HT, so you are not alone. For me, it is just a lack of space....it is tough to seat more than 4 with the screen down, otherwise a couple of guys could be sitting 2 feet from the screen :eek:....but I do the best I can in the space I have. Plus, my stupid transducer for my buttkicker always seems to rattle on some heavy LFE scenes, no matter what setting I adjust it to. I think it has to do with the transducer simply being place under the foot of my chair, and not actually being "tied" down to the chair itself (or to a platform.) But I live with it the best I can.
