Plot summary:

It seems like reading Ascension is a must for fans of these books. I know I cant wait!

Yeah, same here, I'm looking forward to it - even if it is only about 1-2 hours of gameplay. For a game as superlative as Mass Effect 2, it's well worth $7 in my book.

I downloaded this for the 360 and it was available as of 9am.....PSN is way too slow for its own good most of the time

Figure its a couple of hours, but if truly story driven, it'll be a 'must play' experience. Least I am hoping.

Just finished it and loved it. Although it had a feeling of cheapness associated with it in that there were no squadmates and it was annoying to see Shepard call Joker and not get any response.

This DLC almost seems mandatory to play ME3 and I am very curious as to how ME3 will account for those who didnt play the Arrival.

Perhaps the events will occur either way, but if you dont play it, it will be someone else who sets forth the events in the Arrival.

My money would be on the squadmate you didnt kill from ME.

Nevertheless, Casey Hudson assured players wont be penalized who didnt play the Arrival.

For my female renegade b-i-tch playthrough, I will not do either DLC just so I can see how ME3 is different if imported.

I downloaded before going to work. Should be done by the time I get home. I'll probably play it with all my playthrough since I'm pretty sure I'll be doing another playthrough or so when ME3 is about to come out and one of those I'll leave one out and see what happens. Either that or play it on the 360 as I'm pretty sure I won't get the DLC for that version. Still not sure if I want to double dip on ME3.

Nothing wrong with double dipping a great game.

I didnt PLAN on double dipping ME2, but I happened to get it for around $10 on PS3 so I said what the hell and being able to earn trophies was a nice incentive.

I will get it on 360 first and then wait for a mega sale on the PS3 version.

But I dunno, I have plenty of time to think about it.
