So did it come with DVD or DC? Or is it just a single Disc Blu Ray but with all the special features? And are they in HD?

It's a single disc edition with special features. I assume that most of the features are in HD but I don't know.

If you have an Ultimate Electronics anywhere near you you can either price match at Best Buy or go there. Their price on the BD/DVD combo is $21.95, this may be a sale price that's only good until Saturday but that's the best price I've seen on that version. I hate that all the stores are selling this ultra bare bones version for $20, that kind of sucks. They should sell the BD/DVD version with the extras for like $24.99 and be done with it. Yikes. :)

The Twilight movies have always been expensive, at least a Red Plum coupon made the second film's price bearable, don't mind at all paying $20 for just the movie, I rarely watch extras. ;)

:catfight: BB has the New Moon steel on "sale" for $19.99, but imo that is too much.

roxyv 12-17-2010 07:43 AM

Not sure if this has been posted but there's an $8 coupon at redplum.com if you buy any of the 3 versions...

WhySoCereal 08-06-2011 03:19 AM

6.99 used (perfect condition)
Non-flipper single disc with all the special features.
PERFECT :D

I would have liked all three to be steel-book but oh well.

I got the flipper for $9 brand new around august. best deal ever especially for how amazing it looks on blu-ray!

TheZatch 11-16-2011 08:27 PM

For those of you who might still want the Steelbook from Best Buy, I just found 3 at one of my local stores. The price tag on them said $36.99 but it rang up as $19.99!

This particular store only had 1 two weeks ago when I was there and it seems with "Breaking Dawn, Part 1" coming out Friday, some of these steelies have been pulled out of their coffins. I haven't pulled the shrink wrap off mine yet but it seems to be in excellent condition!

SwaggerJagger 11-17-2011 04:03 AM

I was at target and they had price tag that said twilight eclipse deluxe BD, they were sold out

femogan 11-28-2011 01:03 PM

Guys, I plan to buy this title on BestBuy next week... is it still being sold with slipcover? Thanks!

I think so. I remember recalling that it looked like mine without the slipcover, instead of the one with silver on it (I think) that I saw there before in a different part of the store, up by the registers. It was facing out on the shelf. I have the special edition which is the BD+DVD. It's the BD+DVD according to the website.

Thanks a lot! I'll be going to Orlando, and hoping I find one with slip somewhere! =)

Well, mine does not appear to have a DVD in it, and is lacking the silver for the actual case. I would say then the one I saw at bestbuy does not include the DVD.

My Wal-mart still has the version with a slipcover last that I checked, which is where I got mine.

bradley4846 02-14-2012 10:39 PM

Pinewoodpotter 02-17-2012 04:46 AM

So, what is the best way to go about getting the Best Buy steelbook? Any suggestions?

remake 06-25-2012 02:08 PM

How hard is it to find the slipcover?

My local Target has the DVD/blu flipper disc with slip for $29.99 and I'm thinking about getting it.

This is my least favourite Twilight film but I need that slip! The chances of getting one from Amazon are probably not happening.

srinivas1015 11-22-2012 06:27 PM

Does the single disc edition have any special features or atleast a commentary track?

No, you just get the movie.

Oh :( . I guess I can scratch that off my list. I was looking forward to the commentary by Meyer as I read the book. I'm not really a big fan or anything but was curious to listen to it.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

That is actually really helpful . Especially with New Moon!

remake 11-22-2012 08:03 PM

Decided to get the movie-only edition for $3.99 because Eclipse is the only one I don't have and it's my least favourite in the series so I could care less about special features.
