It would be nice to have an option. But you're right. Personally, I'm going to wait for the individual releases. No KOTCS for me. The most disappointing movie of the last 10 years...

I don't see anyone holding a gun to my head. So yeah, I'm not being forced at all.

I'm happy with my Target book edition for KotCS. But I am looking forward to see what this set offers.

I'm hoping for at least some new extras. Though I'll be keeping my Target KotCS set as well.

Be prepared to wait for a long time. I don't see individual releases happening anytime soon. And of course, I disagree about KotCS.

Yeah. I know. It's going to be a long wait. I actually tried to like KOTCS. I really did. I've seen the film twice. On the second viewing, I sat down and watched the film with my Father. After it was over he said to me "Well, they jumped the shark with that one". More like nuked the fridge. A colossally bad movie made by some very talented people.

Say you have Crystal Skull...you really want the other three movies...they're only available in a package that also includes Crystal Skull...which you already have. If you want to have all four movies, you have to buy Crystal Skull a second time. That's still a forced option, because Paramount isn't offering a three-film set for fans who already bought Crystal Skull. They're screwing them (and by "them," I mean you) out of money.

But hey, it's your money...if you're "glad" to use it to buy the same disc twice, that's cool. I would just think that someone who already had the movie on BD would be more glad to have a slightly cheaper option that didn't force them ("gun to my head" hyperbole aside) to purchase the same film more than once in order to have all four. But then, I'd also think that Paramount would want to reward fans who already purchased Crystal Skull by allowing them such an option...so what do I know?

Yet stuff like jumping out of a crashing plane with an inflatable raft was completely realistic. ;)

They're modern serials. These illogical and ridiculous escapes from danger/death are part of the charm.

Just like when Indy goes over cliff on the back of the tank in Last Crusade and somehow a moment later is fine and climbing back up the cliff. Even though we saw as the tank plummeted that Indy wasn't hanging on anywhere. Basically... don't watch the Indy series if you take things too seriously.

A very sad case of "what were they thinking?". Nothing, NOTHING works, not even Spielberg's direction. It is not a flawed movie but a complete disaster through and through.

I, for one, would rather have the choice to buy the first 3 without being forced to get the 4th one in the package.

Never during his post did he even comment on not liking KOTCS because it was unrealistic. Reading is your friend.

He commented about jumping the shark and then nuking the fridge. So yes, he did from a certain point of view. Take your own advice please.

I have to agree. I think part of the failure is the notion of going in the "We are family" direction that started in Last Crusade. Last Crusade should have been the last one. Speaking of Last Crusade, introducing the character of Henry Jones was fun but it did take a lot out of the mystery of Indy's persona. Fine if it's the last movie but the character is a long way from the bad ass that steps out of the shadows when we first see him in Radiers. My two cents...

This is no big deal.....

I'm sorry, but to those who own the current KOTCS, if you are all up in arms regarding double dipping on this one title, just think about the whole Bond box set coming. Think about all the Bond movies that are already out on Blu-ray,for which I have. There's a real mess for you.

Those are expressions...and an ironic one at that. Unless you think "jumping the shark" is a plot description...(It isn't)

Here is something we all can agree on: These reviews are hilarious!

I can't agree with that. Red Letter Media and their trollish unfunny reviews aren't even worth watching.

They're a waste of my time to watch these clowns make ridiculous jokes in a poor attempt at humor. But enjoy. :)

Heh. True that. Thank god I'm not a James Bond fan. I feel for you guys who are. It's not an opportune thing for you guys. :(

Oh, so they should be ok with it, just because hey, it could be worse.

Nice thinking.

That's correct, it could be a lot worse. I'm not saying that you can't be upset, but seriously.....why did anyone buy the movie, knowing full well there would be some box set coming in the future. The Bond issue is a different one in that MGM was bankrupt about halfway through the Bond releases, which then just stopped until a buyer was found. That screwed everything up.

Spoken like a true passive aggressive person who obviously hasn't seen them, because they are actually legitimate film critiques.

I don't understand your constant need to be staunchly opposed to everything and everyone who you disagree with. There can be no compromise or understanding can't there?

Yes, it's not an ok movie marred by some flaws, but a flaw in itself with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

My take, of course.

I've seen a few moments of their reviews. I can't stand their "characters" and the so-called jokes. Just my opinion. *Shrugs*

And there's plenty of compromise and understanding. I'm just not going to change my point of view for anyone. Different strokes for different folks.

In the end there's plenty of movies I love and others hate and vice versa. Doesn't make anyone wrong or right. Just unique. And that's cool. :)
