I had never seen/heard of the disc in that link and was wondering what it was. If the only thing on that $29.99 disc in your link will be on the blu-ray set, then that’s all I was wanting to know.

All of the extras from the first bonus disc will be included and *ahem* in my SAME posting, I posted the extras that aren't included from KOTCS. It's really clear as day. http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.ph...postcount=3565

Well, w/all of the back and forth crap that has been going on the last 2 days, you can understand how I may have missed that while trying to sort through all of the “crap.”

Sorry, I wasn't sure if your first two lines were a reference to that or not.

Steven! I said no deleted scenes! That's five deleted scenes! Can't you count?!

Yep. I like how the story revolves around aliens, indicative of science fiction during the time the movie is set in.

Agreed. I am annoyed at how people seem to dislike this, as if magical cups, stones and luggage are realistic, but inter-dimensional beings are too out there to be believable.

I agree the movie is too reliant on CG, and has a few "Wow, that is some cheesy CG" moments, but over-all I still enjoyed the flick. Could it have been better without the CG and The Beef? Yes. Does that mean is automatically sucks? No. As pessimistic as I am as a person, I think I tend to be a cinematic optimism most of the time. It allows me to enjoy much-maligned films like this and the Star Wars prequels.

I find it ironic how (almost) everyone hates KOTCS, so where do the disproportionately amount of KOTCS extras fans come from?

emgesp 08-09-2012 05:30 AM

KOTCS was not nearly as bad as the Star Wars prequels.

Last time I watched TPM I decided it would've been pretty good it Jar-Jar was simply left out. I can handle poor child acting.

If you take out Jar Jar, the stupid Child actor and midichlorians, it might have been a pretty solid flick.

This is for the SW thread, but I never found the PT midichlorian force theory to clash with the OT force theory

Agreed. The worst parts of KOTSC are still better than a lot of things in the prequels.

Good, then KOTCS should be near perfection for me :whip:

O.K. plz let's stop hating on the SW-P.T. Love all the Indiana movies. LOVE all of the SW saga. They all have their faults but these two film series are the greatest escapist fare ever put on film bar none . . .

i actually enjoy KOTCS....it's Indiana Jones for cryin out loud!!! :D

the CG got to be a little much in a few spots but overall i thought it fit w/the others nicely.

I have to disagree; I think the Star Wars prequels with their many flaws were much better written than KOTCS. At least each SW prequel had some cool scenes that stood out and will be remembered (especially the lightsaber duels, space & planet battles, visuals, Anakin changing, etc.) where as KOTCS has nothing memorable.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

There are specific moments in the Prequels that I would happily watch again on Blu-ray; Maul saber fights, Yoda vs Dooku, Obi-Wan vs Grevious, Yoda vs Sidious and many others.

There's not one stand-out moment from KOTCS that I crave to watch again.

And this is coming form someone who loves Indiana Jones.

I enjoyed KOTCS with one exception: Shia Labeouf. I think he's a terrible actor and annoys me to no end.
