Not me. I've waited this long, an extra couple of weeks is NOTHING if it means getting plastic tray disc protection rather than a cardboard book!

That's assuming content across the two sets is identical.

Has it been confirmed that Crystal Skull will have a new DTS HD-MA track anywhere? The US? The UK?

Or is it just the same Dolby True-HD master as the old blu-ray which sounded - frankly - awful.

The specs here suggests Dolby True-HD: http://bdlive.dk/blu-ray-artikel/145...g-the-dictator

It shows the inside of the set in the top picture. If you look close enough, you can see the places to put the discs in front of the little pictures.

Skull sounded fine once you turned it up to a proper listening level. It's mixed very low for some reason and I believe the offset is something -8 or -10. I remember it being rather high, but I can't confirm it since I sold the movie when this set was announced.

I'm waiting this out. This should be 49.99 at the most!

I think it will come down in price. I'm holding out until it does. Here's crossing my fingers :ohnoes:

It is a little overpriced, however Raiders is one of my favorite movies and to me, the price is worth paying for day-one ownership.

I can see it going for $49 or maybe even $39 by Black Friday.

omfg sep 18 is almost here

Being back in school, I have to carefully plan my budget these days . You're right though about Raiders and I'm jealous of those who get this on day uno. I still think it may come down in price before release date (or hoping anyways)..

Same here.

Also, like Walt said, there are plenty of other releases between now and early-mid October to make the wait easy. The difference in packaging alone would make it worth the wait for me though.

Perhaps Return of the Legend and Pre-Production will just be tacked on to the rest of the Making of Crystal Skull documentary.

Just had a look and found 2 versions of The Complete Adventures will be released in Australia.
One says Limited Edition & the other says Deluxe Edition..
I cant seem to find out what the main differances are between the both?
Does anyone here know anything about these 2 versions??

Thanks in advance.

mrpink134 08-26-2012 12:27 AM

I'm really looking forward to this release! I think that its going to look great!

FrameFecker 08-26-2012 12:50 AM

It looks really bloody good. :happytears:

Raiders, I mean. Not bothered about the others.

Blu Jedi Master 08-26-2012 12:54 AM

It looks like my wait is finally going to pay off. I too can not wait to pick up this Box Set.

REPLAY 08-26-2012 01:01 AM

That's why I ordered the UK set!

See below. I thought it was safe to get rid of the 4th disc (special features) from the 2003 DVD box set. I thought the special features from the 2003 and 2008 dvd set were the same. I only owned the 2003 set and not the 2008 dvd set

From the Digital Bits:

Quote: Finally today, an update on the Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures Blu-ray extras news we posted the other day. We've spoken with Lucasfilm and have learned that the 1981 The Making of Raiders of the Lost Ark documentary listed in the press release is something that's never been released on DVD before - it's NOT the piece that was on the Best Buy bonus disc available with the 2003 DVD set. We've confirmed that the Best Buy featurette is NOT included is the set. So if you wish to keep all the available special features, you need to keep the 2008 DVD set, the original Crystal Skull BD release and the Best Buy bonus disc from the 2003 DVD release.

As far as I know, you were safe getting rid of the 2003 4th disc. The Bits article is talking about a 10-minute Best Buy exclusive 5th disc that came with the 2003 set.
