That's the chronology according to Spielberg and Lucas.

The problem with Internet sarcasm: somebody will actually take this seriously.

I always take Indiana Jones seriously.

The only (funny?) reason why I mentioned ToD as a prequel, and so the less loved from the trilogy, was because I was making a subtle reference about the "hated" prequels from the Star Wars Saga...!

Anyway, I love ToD, very dark and original.

how could you put it before Last Crusade when it has cold war era communist bad guys in it?

If these are what we saw in theatres we'll be thinking whats with Star Wars that he feels the need to mess about with them.

Huh? Indy has a grown son in Crystal Skull of 18-20 years old. So how could it come before Last Crusade? And there's an atomic bomb in it. Which means it couldn't come before 1945.

Don't be silly. Of course it's going to be a 4 movie set.

Temple of Doom has always been my favorite of the trilogy...still eagerly anticipating a release date for this set.

How is that possible? Raiders is quite possibly one of the best films in movie history.

No doubt...I love Raiders too, but I seem to put in TOD alot more than the other two films. I don't bother with KOTCS...they spread out nearly 2 decades before releasing a fourth installment. It was better to leave the series alone after LC.

Well, it's a little something we like to call "individual preference."© It's really catching on with the kids, we've noticed.

You clearly didn't see the Star Wars prequels. ;)

I actually don't dislike it as much as others do.

timcat4843 11-26-2011 01:44 PM

All I want to purchase is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on BD with 7.1 uncompressed PCM audio.

Want this. E.T. too. And I love Crystal Skull. That movie had some replay value for me. Karen Allen being back was a blast. Her and Ford still had that chemistry going.

I think it could be as sets and the new movie:

Raiders Of The Lost Ark - Temple Of Doom

Last Crusade - Crystal Skull

Indiana Jones 5

So you're in favor of altering the original 5.1 masters?

Yes, just like they altered the original 5.1 masters of the Jurassic Park Trilogy.

I hope that it isn't the same HD transfer that I watched of TOD yesterday on dish network. It was really bad....
