Man, Best Buy really has a hard-on for Taylor Swift huh? No doubt this is going to affect sales and marginalize the Blu-ray version. $26 with tax. Disappointing.

I'd rather have Amazon Prime'd it... they better at least deliver it in a proper Blu-ray sized case with how much they're charging.

How do you think we feel when we can't import a steelbook release from future shop.

Well Best Buy is the largest electronics retailer in the US.

$26 is a bit high but after all is it a CD AND a blu-ray AND supposedly over 2 hours of concert footage and bonus materials. Taylor Swift is awesome live, the CD is just a big deal as the blu-ray as far as I am concerned and the CD will for sure get way more use. My CD will go to iTunes and then loaded on the SD card in my car where I do 99% of my music listening.

The current price is $24 (not $26), but I don't expect it to even be $24 when it is actually released. That is likely just a "placeholder" price like everything usually has when it first goes up for pre-order, especially since the list price itself is only $26.98.

I've only ever pre-ordered from best buy twice before will they charge the lower price when it comes out or the amount that I just ordered it for.

You are probably right, maybe $19.99? What would you guess?

The CD being included would justify the price tag being a few dollars higher than Journey to Fearless, but they still have to price it reasonably enough so it will actually sell. With that said, $19.99 seems like a solid guess, especially since Journey to Fearless was $16.99.

I honestly don't know since I've never pre-ordered from them, but they should have some sort of documentation on their website about that.

You can still buy the movie at least. Back in the day the actual movie used to be the most important part of the purchase.

Touche. The movie is the most important part for me but I still like to have the packaging.

Look under the special offers link on the site it clearly states that it comes with the blu and on the picture they have posted in the top right corner it says cd + blu-ray.

TheApprentice 10-23-2011 07:09 PM

So...
This is also NOT coming to Canada just like Journey to Fearless?
What kinda stupid move is that... Sigh.

I had to pay $32CDN for journey to fearless on eBay >.<

Yeah, I love that Taylor is 5'11". I'm 6'3", so if I ever had the chance to kiss her, I wouldn't have to bend down too far. :p

dru106 10-24-2011 02:33 AM

I really hope the audio will sound a lot better than the other one!! :D

ShellOilJunior 10-24-2011 02:38 AM

I'm just over 6 feet tall.

Seems taller guys prefer Taylor?

When one looks at all the good things about her and how supremely talented she is then there's the fact she is 5 feet 11 inches...

To quote Taylor- "I don't know how it gets better than this" :)
