I haven't had much luck finding these.

The only one I have is Billy Elliot, which I bought through Best Buy's website (for an in-store pick up). I was always planning on buying that on day one since it's one of my favorite movies & it's its first time on Blu-ray.

When I picked it up I thought the slipcover was very cool so I looked for more... but naturally, didn't find any. It was only later, by coming on this site, did I learn that BB is ONLY carrying Billy Elliot!! (Still have no idea why!)

I checked the Target by me but they had NONE! I'm pretty sure I went up & down every aisle-- I didn't even see an empty display case. And I went on Thursday morning.

I don't live near a Walmart so it looks like I'll either have to check back at Target & cross my fingers or resort to Amazon, where they are all $14.99-17.99... and where you can't seem to use the $3 coupons. (Am I correct? If I write to Amazon do you think they'll give me $3 off??)

Speaking of the coupons, I redeemed my Billy Elliot code on a computer that's not attached to a printer... and my computer shut down before I could figure out what to do with the open page. If I log back into my account, will that coupon be there? Or did I lose it??

Picked up the Breakfast Club at Wal Mart this afternoon. It was the only one I really wanted for right now. From what I remember my Wal Mart had the following:

Each of the Bourne films
Inglourious Basterds
Field of Dreams
the Breakfast Club
Ray
Billy Elliot
Mama Mia

Some were $11.96 and some were $13. Not bad, especially with the coupon.

I bought Field Of Dreams at Wal-Mart. The guy didn't want to accept my coupon because I printed it. He said they didn't accept printed coupons (from the internet). He ended up asking someone else who said to accept it.
Since I returned my non-slip Field Of Dreams which cost $8, $8.96 wasn't too bad for the slip version.

The Green Mile is Warner Brothers, not Universal... it got rerelease in standard amaray BD case

Same here. I'm taking my time on getting them. :)

Well I bought both Seabiscuit & A Beautiful Mind so far. $3 off coupon via 1 code, & "potentially" the Back to the Future Game (Full Series) game via another code. The slipcovers are really nice, & I plan on buying quite a few of these releases...

All mine have a French sticker on the front I might peel off. Only Field Of Dreams didn't have one. I told myself I wasn't going to get suckered in buying Universal's 100th Blu-ray's. Today I come home with these :( . Plus I have a few more to pick up. :D . By the way I won two $3 coupon's like most everyone else on the two titles I opened.

I had no idea that Do the Right Thing was on Blu-ray already. Besides that (a film that's very well made but pisses me off every time I think about it), I want Billy Elliot, Seabiscuit, and Babe.

LastRide 01-15-2012 07:47 PM

Here are a few more today.

Why does it piss you off? Because the race issues are so heavy handed in the film?

Because of the way it was put together, my Field Of Dreams slip is slanted. That's best way to put it. On the shelf, it looks crooked.

I was wondering the same thing

I picked up 'Billy Elliot' today at BB. Damn I hate how they put that sticker over the top & bottom of the BD that attaches to the slip
