I hope all these new releases are Digibooks, although the OCD in me is torn on The Birds...it'll be the only digibook Hitchcock. Might have to be a standard case to match Psycho and the Hitchcocks from MGM

North by Northwest is a digibook.

You got the coupon sent to you? I won 2 of them and the screen just said "Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery via e-mail."

I was hoping to get one so I could use it today on 40 Year Old Virgin

I haven't bought any yet but went to the contest site and requested a code. It was emailed within a few minutes. I put in the code and took a spin and won the $3 off coupon. I just printed off 2 right then. Coupon expires 2/7/2012.

My friend just gave me the slips for Inglorious Bastards, 40 YO virgin, and the borne trilogy (since he doesn't collect slips) and I bought field of dreams. IMO they look really nice when they are all put together. I'm kinda digging these slips

Neither have I, I requested a code and entered it in and "won" a coupon as well, but I get this screen where I don't see anywhere to print off the coupon and it says I should get an email within 3-4 weeks. Maybe it's because the Canadian coupon is not ready yet?

And where is this contest site you speak of?

The video attached to the site was pretty well produced and now I'm hoping that unplanned, non-4k releases will be planned. I really want a release of Brokeback on Blu-ray with the features from the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD from a few years back.

Thanks for the coupon. Don't yet have American Graffiti, may have to pick that up.

Yes, but Warner also do NxNW in a standard case.

I think Universal's "Spin the Wheel" is rigged LMAO. I 'won' a $3 coupon as well and I know I saw laptops and tv's flying by as well.

Cowboy300 01-11-2012 09:44 PM

Anyone here going to trade in their old copies of the releases and upgrade to the 10th anniversary slips? Seems like it may be worth it.

You can trade them in?

Cowboy300 01-11-2012 09:54 PM

I guess I should have clarified that post more. Selling them back to Amazon and upgrading to the new package by spending a few bucks.

BluPat 01-11-2012 09:54 PM

Oh ok.

celticmoon 01-11-2012 09:55 PM

Thanks for the tip about the coupon!

By the way, when you print out the coupon, it gives you a release schedule up to 3/6, and it says The Blues Brothers and Despicable Me Blu/DVD combo pack will also be released for this series on 3/6.

stlcards 01-11-2012 10:07 PM

Requested another free code...only got the $3 off again.

BluPat 01-11-2012 10:18 PM

Maybe Universal will reissue 'Halloween II' with a pretty 100th Anniversary slipcover.

They are rather beautiful aren't they? The Babe one is gorgeous and the Seabiscuit that I am after looks amazing too. I've said this several times already, but IMO they are elegant and not over-designed. They are very well made.

I would definitely get the Babe one if I didn't already have the first release. It looks nice.
