Really liked Tree of Life. Although I would understand why some wouldnt like it. Visually it's incredible. This was the first film of Malick's Ive seen. Now I want to see the Thin Red Line.

My weekend watching was:
Dazed and Confused (Criterion)
It's been probably 4 years since I saw this the first (and last) time. Really good to revisit. I'd forgotten how enjoyable it is. 4.5/5

The Lady Vanishes (Criterion)
The first time I watched this was streaming on Hulu a year or so ago. Good to see it on a TV screen with a good transfer and subtitles (a must for old movies, imo). Just a fantastic story from beginning to end with delightful characters. 5/5

Hangover II
The serviceable follow-up is serviceable. 3/5

Jurassic Park
The book is still better, but the movie is also great. 4/5

Blue Velvet
My only prior experience with Lynch was when my mom picked up The Straight Story on VHS at Goodwill because she read the back. (shrug) I hated that, but that was before I developed a taste for artsy cinema. So maybe I'd like it now. But in any case, Blue Velvet is fantastic. 5/5
