I loved it 4/5. It delivered everything I wanted. Good Acting. Good Story and made you really think about Life and Death. Its liam Neeson vs Wolves that will get people in the Theater but it's acting and story will make you realize you just watch a great movie that makes you think about life and Death.

This is exactly how i took the movie as well.... i really didnt know much about it going in...which ive learned from past experience, can ruin the movie if you think its one thing but get another...

This has to be the most stupid part of the movie though. I mean all the talk of the cold and how quick it would be for death to set in and Neeson apparently has no problem spending plenty of time in the water and apparently walking around in the open in wet clothing  Nah. Ain't happening

I initially thought the same thing at that scene - BUT [Show spoiler] the thing you're supposed to do in that situation is strip off, light a fire and dry yourself before changing into dry clothes. You can see they immediately cut to Neeson in the forest, with a different jumper on, and no gloves...as if he had done exactly that. IMO they definitely thought of it, they put in an obvious cut, and they gave subtle but clear indication that he had performed the survival techniques - without having to eat up valuable screen time showing it at a critical juncture in the story

Glad you guys mentioned this, as i was thinking it immediately while watching the movie.... like you mentioned though, they did show him with the jacket off in the next scene but thought they could have shown him with a sense of urgency building a fire, then going to the next scene...
so, finally saw this and LOVED IT! Thought the character development was done perfectly and was glad it ended up not being a straight up wolves action movie, which could get pretty boring imo....
funny how a lot of people wanted to see the fight at the end... i was literally watching and saying, they better end the movie JUST before the fight, they better end it! and they did....thought it was the perfect ending and feel for the movie....it wasnt about if he won or not....even if he won, then what? he still barely able to survive at that point...
However, in regards to the ending after the credits, which i didnt know about until right now....i was thinking it could have been cool if you heard a very faint sound of a helicopter in the background....which could have been used in the original ending...like, there is hope of being rescued, but can he finish off the wolf? or at the ending credits scene of him on the ground next to the wolf, looking up or maybe the scene with him in bed with his wife, with faint sound of Helicopter in the background....
either way, cant wait to buy this on Blu!!! 4/5
