That finish looks great. But seeing it standing in a parking lot, on those temporary screw legs, over asphalt makes me want to run up to it and wrap it with some protective padding for fear it may tip over:ohnoes:.

They asked me if they could showcase them on there website once they are completed! :p

They were actually standing pretty solid on the asphalt. I only had it out there to get some nice shots!

He is gone... we lost him... we lost him to the speakers. He probably called in "sick" and is in front of those speakers drinking (insert drink of choice)... and didn't even invite us over:o... bastard...:D

Hey ref, where are you putting these speakers? What are you hooking them up to? Hope the rest of the build went smoothly.

Both speakers are buffed and I started to put the dampening in there. It's a little tricky and it takes some time!
I should be able to wire it and fire it up tomorrow evening.:D
Once everything is set, I will take some nice shots and I will promise you that it will look pretty cool! :D

Cool man yes those white speakers with the carbon stuff has a very good look! Glad to hear they are sounding as good as they look. A white turntable as part of the 2 channel set up might really look cool too

I just layed it all out and unfortunately I don't have any room for a turntable!
I am so impressed of the sound they produce that I think that they almost sound as good as the original 205/2!
I just can not stop listening to them!!! It is insane!
Pictures will be up soon!

Hummm a 2 channel set up and no TT....? I think you would have found it to be a very dynamic piece of equipment, much more than some black box that pumps out digital signals. Just the mechanical eye candy alone and the spining hypnotic record is enough to make it worth while, LOL

Glad the speakers are sounding sweet!

The final day has arrived!:D
Everything is set up now and it sounds outstanding!
After close to 350 hours of work, i was able to create (2) 3-way Tower speakers which look and sound like really high end speakers!
My project was a total success and yes, everything is possible if there is a will!!! :whip:
I am glad it's over and now i can enjoy my hard work until next time!! ;)

Enjoy the following shots!!! :) :D
