Mass Effect 3 comes out in a few weeks. The demo is now available via Origin.

Just wanted to let you know, copies of Mass Effect 3 are in space!

Pre-ordered it on Origin. Getting BF3 for free.

I'm going through another ME2 run and trying to make it last before this one is released.

I played the Kingdoms of amalur demo on all 3 platforms to get the mass effect 3 dlc :rolleyes:

I'll pass on ME3 for now owing to the greed of EA. They've got some guts blaming its absence from Steam on "restrictive terms of service" given the Origin snoopware and I'm also sick to death of multiple retailer exclusives and limited editions

I'm so glad you posted that link when you did. That sniper rifle is awesome. Makes the wait 'til I can afford the Widow all the more bearable.

quick question. if I buy it used will I be required to buy an "online pass" to access any otherwise normally free DLC???? or is that not an issue with Mass effect?

Technically, you cannot play Mass Effect 3 on PC used since all retail PC copies of Mass Effect 3 require a CD-Key for Origin in order to play, it's similar to many retail Steamworks games. Without it, the discs are junk. The discs are just to offer a quicker alternative to installing the game.

I haven't played Mass Effect 3, but you should be able to download the free DLC since your copy is basically a downloaded copy of the game (just like steam).

grrrr, I hate searching in the main gaming thread. It brought me here to the PC section. I meant for the ps3. :(
