That's if it gets one. I like lenticular slips too but many seem to be getting standard slips or nothing at all these days :(

This was a fun adventure movie with nice 3D. At home, it'll look even better, even though they could've pushed it a bit more. Some great pop out moments here and there, and nice parallax layers throughout, though I wouldn't call it very strong 3D, just very good 3D.

Has anyone heard anything about a US release on this? I see the 2D version listed on Amazon for a 06-05-12 release, but 3D is MIA.

Yeah, I agree. It wasn't nearly as good in 3D as the first one. It was solid but nothing I'd call immersive. Actually to be honest, I was a bit disappointed by the 3D in the theater. It had limited pop, but also limited depth and layer separation. YMMV though, as it seems everyone sees 3D differently!!

Damn expensive... I'll wait to see if the price drops on this 3D. When I saw it was going to be $45 bucks, damn near made me gag... I am sure the price will drop about a week before release date.

Any guesses on how much the lowest price will be? Anyone?

It's true, two people see the same movie in 3D and neither one agrees on what they thought of the 3D.

I agree with what you're saying though for the most part in that this movie could've pushed it more by separating the 3D cameras more. Or was this post 3D?

kevotinh 04-05-2012 12:36 AM

look like a good 3d one. Waiting for the us release

Zivouhr 04-05-2012 12:53 AM

The 3d is good, so yes, it's worth having in a 3D library if one likes adventure movies along the lines of a Disney Adventure ride.

I grabbed this a week ago when it was £14.99. Can't wait to see it.
