Solid start, decent size 7/10. ;)

Haha understood dude. I have them for my girlfriend more than me, so I'm sure you understand ;)

You have a solid collection as well. You get lots of props for having Lost and Band of Brothers as it is :D It's pretty awesome.

9.5/10

Gandalf you have an A+ collection. Its very diverse your collection is sure to satisfy any mood or taste. What do you think of my small collection?

Romulus 07-29-2010 12:20 AM

I don't think I share hardly any titles with you... maybe 3. So just because we have a different taste in film, I'll give you a 4/10. Don't take that as I think your movies are bad.

CAB 07-29-2010 12:28 AM

I like your collection as we have many in common. I think we differ on some that I'd not watch again or consider films I'd likely get a lot of borrow requests from. I wish there was an option in the collection view to post a quick film taste bio and how long each has been collecting. It would give an idea on how to measure.

I think I've seen all the films in your collection save a few of the Criterions. You've given me ideas of possible new orders. I'd say a solid C - you've got a lot in the wishlist. Fortunately we're at the slow times for release. Q4 is gonna be rough.

Awesome collection. There are a couple titles in there that I wouldn't have bothered to buy myself, but more power to you. You and I mostly have the same tastes though. Lots in there that I need to buy.

So if you don't think my movies are bad and we have different tastes does that make your movies bad? Lol I am in summertime mode so most of my titles reflect that. There are so many titles I would like to have, but it will just take some time. I do like a lot of your other films so 7.5/10!

well to be fair I have been out of work for three months and my last job I only worked 2 days a week so I would have a lot more movies if I had more money to spend.

You have several movies that I have. There are also some movies in your collection that are not my 'taste' so to speak, but that doesn't mean they are bad. As long as you enjoy them, that is all that truly matters.:) Your collection is a little weak on genre diversity. I would encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, and try some different genres. You never know. You just might open up a whole new viewing experience.

6/10

When you get back on your financial feet, don't forget you can add movies you have watched to your list. ;) Spending money on movies isn't what makes a collection fulfilling for you or those you share your movies with. :)

Wow, you have a lot of great movies I'd like to have. But Batman & Robin... If you bought it separately, then 9/10, if it was part of the box set, then 10/10.

MoneyLover, very interesting collection. I like it quite a bit. Nice diversity in titles for a smaller collection.

9/10 a lot of good classics.

I'm thinking of getting all the Dexters on Blu. I have the First season chinese bootleg that I got in Afghanistan, 2nd Season on DVD, 3rd Season on Blu and 4th I downloaded. This show is so awesome I'm thinking of getting them all.

PJ I'm almost done with FMA and man it's getting so effing good:rock:

Al just got stolen by Envy. Lust just got killed by Wrath. Mustang is going after the Furher:eek:. Just got Shambala in the mail today will be watching it soon

Definitely dude, Dexter is great. I need to get copies myself. But it's great. I'm just getting into Mad Men, another fantastic show, and the blu ray is absolutely gorgeous, so you should check that out too

and as always sir, a 10/10

Denoku 07-29-2010 07:04 AM

I'll have to check out Mad Men when I get back. I was just thinking today how I wish they would come out with The Wire on Blu-ray.

I still need to watch that :o

I really wish Dead Like Me was on blu. That was a great show

Denoku 07-29-2010 07:29 AM

The Wire is one of the best shows ever made. Truly an awesome show, whether it's on Blu or not it deserves a watch. I have lived in Germany for the past 3 or so years so I'm behind on TV shows. I just watch what I hear about pretty much

The Wire
Dexter
Weeds
Scrubs
Family Guy
Firefly

oh and Big Bang Theory
