You love Concert Blu-rays (I do too) but I gotta say..... There is no way I could listen to some of those 'artists' let-alone watch an entire concert of theirs! I respect the fact that it's your thing though :D

EDIT:

I'd give you another point for NOT owning Shakira, Beyonce, or Mariah Carey, but you're missing "Stop Making Sense" which is probably my favorite concert currently available on Blu-ray....... (Followed closely by the Clapton/Winwood MSG)

Thanks for the additional point Beta! :p

I do have an over-abundance of Concert BD's for most people's liking, so your rating for mine is probably a fair one. I've been rather lax in buying Blu-ray's as of late. Soon I hope.

I'm gonna rate you a 6/10. Not because I don't like the movies you own, because I do and there is decent representation of genres...but.....you only own Criterion releases. Why is that btw?

John

I separated the wife's movies. Hopefully a lot of the ones you wouldn't dream of getting are in there; at the very least it should save me a little embarrassment. :o

Great collection! I like mostly everything in your collection! I don't see many other users besides me who have The Complete Monterey Pop Festival Blu-ray in their collection. Major Props on that!

Wow, what fantastic collection! Pure perfection. I can't find a single fault in it. I love every single film in your collection. Your collection reminds me to pick up "A History of Violence," "The Shining" and "Taken" on Blu-Ray! Thanks! :boycap:
10/10

Not bad, I think we have a lot of common ground and you have a lot of the criterions that I want, but i spent most of what little budget i have on the Yojimbo/sanjuro set during that sale. You'll like the thing, I jsut watched it last night, but you need Big Trouble in Little China! Solid 9/10

I like yours. A good representation of many genres and many generations. Horror, animation, comedy, sci-fi, action, and some classics.

Also, a lot of good Bale flicks!

9.75 out of 10!

A few more classics would suffice, but the pluses definitely outweigh the minuses. 8.5/10

7/10 while I love the fact you have some classics (Gone with the wind) among others, I wouldn't buy many of the movies that you own. It's just a difference of taste I suppose.

As long as you enjoy them, that is all that truly matters.:) Your collection is a little weak on genre diversity. I would encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, and try some different genres. You never know. You just might open up a whole new viewing experience.

6/10

When you get back on your financial feet, don't forget you can add movies you have watched to your list. ;) Spending money on movies isn't what makes a collection fulfilling for you or those you share your movies with. :)

Well yeah I know that, and the reason it is not very diverse is because of funding, my DVD collection gave a much better representation of what movies I like. I could post my DVD collection but that would be too massive.

I'll be a little more generous and give a 7/10. There are certainly some good ones in there, but a bunch that I wouldn't ever get. But like the previous poster said, if that's what you like, then good for you.
