We have lots of similar tastes, and we have tons of similar titles.

EDIT - greekak229 I imagine its bad form to ignore the above users post in a thread like this, I apologise. I've just had a browse of your collection and really like it. Needs more horror and martial arts for my taste but can't find fault with what you've got. 8.5/10

Thanks I give you a 9/10 you have a great collection defjuggalo. I do need to add more action films to my collection any sugestions? I am always looking to add more horror as well.

Cheers. Plenty of suggestions. My DVD/Blu Collection top 1160 titles so I've got my fair share but I'm only listing Blu's I've got that I think might be of interest.

Horror
Dawn of the Dead
I see you have the Dawn of the Dead remake. I highly recommend the UK region free Arrow 3 disc of the original. Its tremendous.
City of the Living Dead
Whilst a lesser film (although entertaining) Arrows City of the Living Dead is also excellent.
Black Sheep
Black Sheep is tremendous horror comedy also region free from the UK. If you like the Idea of zombie Sheep from New Zealand then this film is for you.
Friday the 13th
Its a Slasher classic that can not be denied. As the recent slew of remakes go you can do worse than the Friday the 13th also.
Night of the Creeps
From the director of The Monster Squad, Creeps is a great fun horror comedy. I've only recently discovered this gem myself as its never been released in the UK.
The Orphanage
I've yet to watch the Blu Ray but the film blew my mind in the cinema.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Seeing as you have the remake you can't go wrong with the original. Its as good as its ever going to look on Blu Ray. The Seriously Ultimate Edition has a ton of extras to go with a landmark Slasher.

Action
The Condemned
This is a remarkably violent film for something produced by a family friendly wrestling company. Its not to everyone's tastes but I think its quite underrated.
Crank 2
I like a bit of the Stathe and he's on nutty form in this one. I warn you this is not for everyone, its daft as a brush.
Death Race
More of the Stathe. Tremendous entertainment that looks cracking on Blu ray. Fast cars that kill people plus the Stathe equals gold in my book.
District 13 Collection
Awesome free running martial arts extravaganza. The stunts are quality the plots are pedestrian. The Blu ray is sweet.
Enter the Dragon
Bruce Lee in HD, need I say more?
Final Fantasy Advent Children
Fantastic animated mayhem with a cracking sound track. The Blu has the extended cut that not only fleshs out the story so it makes more sense to those not so familiar with FF7 but also add more hyper kinetic action.
The Good, The Bad, the Weird
Korean action adventure western. Really enjoyed this and the Blu looks tremendous.
Ip Man
Tremendous Donnie Yen martial arts biopic of the man who trained Bruce Lee. I'm not a huge Donnie yen fan but I really think he stepped up in Ip Man. the martial arts themselves where choreographed by Sammo Hung and its spot on.
Leon
The Blu looks great and for myself it was the first time I had seen the directors cut which really brings a whole new dimension to the film.
Ong Bak 2
Not as good as the original but still a blinding martial arts film. The weapons work particularly is some of the best ever. I don't have the Blu of the first Ong Bak as its unavailable in the UK so can't vouch for its quality but its a truly jaw dropping film as is the protector aka Warrior king. I would recommend anyone buy them immediately if they are look for action.
Shoot Em Up
Not one for those that like realism. Guns on the scale of Commando. Pure unadulterated escapist entertainment.
Total recall
One of Arnie's greatest. I believe the US release is of dubious quality but the German Steel book I have is great. Its light on extras compared to the DVD I have but the pic quality is super. The german uncut SE is OOP now and region locked but I know there are other versions. 'Come on Cohegan, give dees people derr eayer!'
Rambo Ultimate Collection
I'm a fan of the whole series. The most recent actually being my favourite. Stallone is a great action director and a vastly under rated one at that. Everybody dies!
Universal Soldier
Classic JCVD. The blu pic is great if light on extras.
Universal Soldier Regeneration
The most recent sequel and a impressive one at that. The action is a cut above your average direct to dvd title. Van Damme's best film since JCVD and his best action film in years.
Steven Seagal
Not one title but any of the early ones look better than they ever have. Being from the UK the majority of his films were cut which is why I've now invested in his Blus. The DVDs were never going to look great and were all vanilla so there was never much motivation. I took a punt with Above the Law to finally see it and was impressed with the pic quality. Seagal isn't everyone's cup of tea but if your a fan I'd definitely go Blu. All his early films are tremendous entertainment and his last few he's been back on form. The Keeper and Driven To Kill were greaqt little action films.

Just added The crazies(remake), Speed Racer and Kick Ass to my collection today.

10/10

I do have two question, if you don't mind

1) Did you just get the New Moon SteelBook package to get all of the FS ones?

2) I noticed that you have One Week in your collection. I've heard mixed reviews about it, but none of my local Blockbusters have them for rent. What did you think of it?

Thanks, of course I don't mind aren't forums made to ask and answer questions? ;)

1. I'm the number 1 Twilight hater, thanks for asking it reminded me to take the Twilight amaray out of my collection I sold it to someone who needed a Canadian disc to fill the empty steelbook I sold him. I didn't clearly answer your question, yes I did it because I'm a completist, that's all.

2. One Week is a great movie but I'm biased because I drove from Quebec to BC 3 or 4 times. The PQ and AQ are sub par but the movie itself is great as long as you don't expect a comedy or an action flick, it touched me.

Great collecton StoogeFan1118 I can't see any movies to be ashamed of in your collection, a solid 10/10.

Cheers,
Gui.

Yeah they are both Region free. The only problem you might have is if they have some PAL content and your TV may not be able to play it back. So check that it can first. The disc will definitely play on your PS3 though.

Haha yeah Zohan is one of those fun ones, plus Emmanuelle Chriqui is gorgeous!

I have a huge list of films that I can't wait to get, but funds are a bit tight so I'm waiting for gohastings to have another 30% or 40% off sale so I can stock up. Can't wait to get the Alien Anthology too, I see you've already pre-ordered it... I'm jealous! :p

I saw Zodiac earlier this year and it was great, definitely a very well done film, but I didn't quite like it enough to buy it. I'll watch it again someday and see if that's changed though

Haha I pre-ordered that and Back to the Future day one, they're so awesome :D

I've gotta say though, I do love Zodiac, and I'd say the picture alone is worth buying for. But I'm a huge Fincher fan so I would buy it regardless...lol. At least someone seems to enjoy Zohan, cause I knew very few people who do :p

Haha, I thought Zohan was ok when I first saw it, but I liked it a lot more after my second viewing. Plus, it was free! :D I'm part of Sony's Rewards program so I save up my points and get a free blu every month or so

I'm a huge Fincher fan as well, so I can't wait to watch Zodiac again someday.
