It's about quality, not quantity, my friend. I'm proud of what I got.

agreed, unfortunately I have some less than 'good' movies in my collection. Ah well, almost all of them I bought for $5-$10 so I can't really complain :p

Anyways 8.5/10. Good collection, but many of them are not to my personal taste.

I wish the u.s would get on the ball and release the blade trilogy thirteen ghosts, and the crow here.

Just find a Canadian site for blade collection and thirteen ghosts. They are available

Overall 7.5/10, very solid collection but missing a few of my favorites. Really like the Badder Santa release you have. Been wanting that for a while.

nolfoc you have a great collection small but it has some great films though I would add more horror titles but horror is one of my favorite genres. 9.5/10. again Great collection!

greekak229 08-17-2010 06:36 PM

Nice variety of horror, and a few other top-notch Blus.

8/10

YoungE8080 08-17-2010 07:25 PM

10/10, Love the collection greekak, you've pretty much collected all of my favorites.

Shawn2009 08-18-2010 07:21 AM

8/10 Young. You have some great blu rays in that collection of yours

Darth Anakin 08-18-2010 07:24 AM

Decent collection for its size, I'll say 7/10. ;)

9/10. Nice, small collection with some titles that I love and some I'd love to own (500 days of Summer... if only it'd drop from it's ridiculous price point).

marty666 08-18-2010 09:17 AM

Nice collection. some great titles i am still after. 9/10

Great collection and all those steelbooks are pretty impressive. If you ever have to leave your house or apartment in a hurry due to a fire or national disaster, you can make some type of Magnetic backpack/suitcase thing, hold it up to your shelf, watch all your steelbooks stick to it, and then you run out of your house with your steelbooks safe in hand!
If I had to give you a score out of a 100% with no grading curve, I'm gonna have to give you a final grade of 98%!

Very nice collection, I think it's nigh on impossible to give someone 10/10 (unless you have the exact same taste), but this is definitely a very high 9/10

Some good titles there, but you do have many that I thought were wretched such as Supernova for example. I'd still rate what you have at a 9/10.:D

Andy,
I think you are my Irish doppelganger - you have all the right imports from Canada and USA...Since you are close to France and Germany, I would expect you to have some imports from there as well (unless your blu-ray player isn't multi-region, then it's understandable).
Since you gave me a 9/10, and since we have similar collections, I'm gonna have to give you a 9.2/10!

Travis 08-18-2010 02:44 PM

toddly6666,

Nice collection. Love the imports. Platoon. Also great just having the good movies in a series and not the sequels.

9.7/10

Yes, unfortunately my wife is responsible for most of those horrors like category 7 and 10.5 apocalypse - she loves those crappy tv movies for some reason. I wouldn't even mind how shit they were if they were short but they go on for 3hrs! Luke Perry as a scientist? C'mon!

I recently got a multi-region player but the main problem with Germany and France is that they are really expensive places to buy from for me, the shipping does be crazy. It's almost always cheaper for me to get stuff from the UK, USA and Canada from amazon, axel music etc. Strange but true.
