A good start to a growing collection. You own a lot of the basics in your given genres, but have not really strayed too far away from blockbuster titles...save for a few animated DC titles, and maybe I'll even throw in Zodiac and Baraka in that catagory. I also find it strange that you have no Disney animated titles in your collection, even though you have other childrens movies like G-Force. Your collection did remind me that I have to buy Cliffhanger at some point, even though I never think of it when I go to the store. I give your collection a 6 out of 10. I'd raise it to a seven if you got the Bourne Trilogy that is on your wishlist

Um, yeah. 10/10

Gener,
You certainly get a 10/10 for quantity and creating a "library.".
But for such a large amount of blu-rays, no one can get a sense of what movies you really like since you buy everything (there's no way you are ever gonna watch Zombie Strippers again ;) ), so overall you get a:
9/10

Greekak,
Just the opposite of Tuck, your smaller collection represents your taste which is what I like to look for when grading collections. Your selectivity and great choices get my "respek":
10 out of 10 stars!

PonyBoi,
Wow, you have the most impressive collection of bad movies! What's going on? Well, you have a collection like not one other person in here. You got balls for that! I don't want to be mean, but you do realize your films are known to be pretty bad, eh? ;)
Unique taste for just bad films: 10/10
Overall: 4/10

I'm speechless! I love how you even have a classic bad film in the mix too - Caligula....just amazing!

You have a really nice collection, you've covered alot of genres. I am also a fan of your Collector's Edition, I really like the Hellboy II one, it looks awesome!! I am a big fan of CE/LE's myself ;).
Although I am not a fan of mr. Seagal, and you have a few of his movies I see. :p

So I will give you 9,5/10!

LuFeng 10-25-2010 05:57 PM

dee strong 9.5 for you and nice steelbooks:rock:

thanks....and about the steven seagal movies....im 35 so his movies were big when i was in my prime. for todays standards they are cheesy but i still love them. alot of the movies in my collection though could be considered cheesy and shitty to alot of people but i bought them because they have meaning in my life. i remember seeing alot of those movies when they came out and liked them regardless if they were B movie horror or cheesy action romps. ive seen alot of people dog other people collections on here because "they arent GREAT movies or GREAT reviewed movies" well one mans trash is another man castle.....to me that applies to peoples collections.

i dont hate on anyones collection because like myself...they may like a movie that may not be a great one or an oscar winner but its a favorite from sometime in thier life.thats what collecting movies is about for me. i can pull out Above The Law or Class of Nuke'em High and instantly be taken back to a time where i was younger and more carefree and when movies were original or a new take on a genre and really meant something (not saying all movies nowadays dont) but alot of the younger people dont realize the movies from the 70's to the late 90's really paved the way for what we have today....i mean look at all the remakes now......

and tbizzle, the dramas are more for my wife:p im more of an action/comedy/martial arts/horror/sci fi type of dude. although a good drama from time to time is ago...they just dont have as much replay value for me to buy alot of them...those i would prefer to rent unless they have a super drama sale:D

I will go 10 for size (and I would go higher if I could), 7 for substance, so let's call it about 8.5/10 overall.

Quite the collection Gandolf!
all over the place..some of the best films around & some of the worst
the sheer size of the collection gives you a 9, plus you have some of my favorite films so, 9.6/10
