Hmm, that's lame. If you can find it somewhere else, it's "Sunday Best" by the Australian singer Washington.

EDIT: Maybe here? http://www.washingtonmusic.com.au/vi...aspx?meid=3313 (It's hard for me to know if they work in the U.S.)

Totally agree! It's good to see music being made without auto tuned vocals and completely computerized digital beats. Too bad mainstream media suppresses actual talent. The day Good Things was released, I had to check 6 stores in my area to find it, B&N being the only place in town to actually have it in stock.

The Night of the Hunter.

I just received my copy of The Night of the Hunter, and I couldn't be happier. I paid about $27.00 for my copy, but if I missed out on the sale price I would have purchased my copy for the regular price. Imo when Night of the Hunter goes oop, prices are going to skyrocket and with good reason. I'm saving my copy for Christmas, but I can always watch it on netflix again. It's def. not as good, :( but it'll do. :)

Finally got my Modern Times in! Problem is, it's at my home, and I'm in college, so I can't watch it for a few weeks. I can wait though. Next: The Thin Red Line. Should be here by Thursday.

True B&N fashion? I've had nothing but perfect packaging done by them, and I order from them more often than Amazon. Got mine in the mail today.

Box was an appropriate size for the content inside, had a bubble insulator for the extra space to keep movie from shifting.

Not a single dent, bend, bow, crease, scratch, anything.
Another, typical, perfect item from B&N.

That's what mine looked like as well. No dents or creases anywhere.

Shelf-wear will help you with that one.

You leave us, and then when you come back this is all you have to say? Disappointing, indeed. We were expecting much more from you.

I can't tell if you're joking or being a douche.

Also a bingo... much more implied sarcastic joke, though, than jerk. :)

I'm far from being a women's cleansing product... if anything, I usually fall under the 'sarcastic a$$' title. I just like to point out the absurdity in this thing called life.

I'm praying that mine arrives in that state. It's a longer trip though. US to Portugal :)

I'm just hoping my last package from B&N arrives. It says it was delivered, but apparently in a different city and state. I'm hoping it got miss scanned. Otherwise the wait for Modern Times, Charade and Breathless continues. I'll have to contact B&N tomorrow if the tracking doesn't fix and it isn't in the mail.

If it says delivered than according to the info above I'd call customer service as soon as you can. Sounds like they are gonna have to reship that order. If it is UPS when it says delivered that is the end of the line.

Tom Hiddleston 11-30-2010 01:55 AM

Sure...

It is USPS. The only reason I think it might have got miss scanned is because it says delivered at 1 am today. That's usually when they are sorting stuff. I probably should send a quick email tonight to customer service. I kind of expect they will have to resend.
