The Fallen Idol is one of my most watched Criterion films. I don't know what it is for sure, but I have to go back and watch it every so often. It's definitely one of my favorites.

Those buying chronos should take a look at this.

What about us that are going to buy the del Toro film "Cronos"?

I did enjoy "Baraka," though, so I might buy "Chronos," as well. Thanks.

Also, Godard turns 80-years old today!

You're not seriously buying this South America routine, are you?

I'm not buying it for a minute. As long as I get what I paid for, I'm fine with it. I simply will never buy from the seller again. It is unfortunate that we live with dishonest people, but it is something we all must do.

I love Raising Arizona (I know many do, and many don't) and I actually own Knowing and thought it was a decently entertaining flick...... and I thought Matchstick Men was pretty good too. Don't remember Windtalkers or Adaptation well enough to comment on those, and never saw Gone in 60 Seconds or 8MM because they looked terrible.

Honestly.... when I saw that shirt, I thought it was supposed to be funny because both Cage and Travolta are douches :p

I guess the fact that the movie Face Off exists, ruins the humor in the shirt for me.....

Perhaps a Shirt that says "Gary Oldman" with a picture of "Christopher Walken" would be humorous, because they're both creepy :D

I own Gone in 60 Seconds with Nic Cage because I love the cars in that movie. I loathe Nic Cage and Angelina Jolie. I hate the scene where the crew get ready by listening to Low Rider and Nic Cage tops it off by shaking his arms rapidly and saying 'lets go' or something lame. He tries too hard for me to ever like him.

But I do own The Family Man on DVD. A film that reminds me to make the best everyday choices for what I firmly believe in. :)

Mine arrived and it is in the original cardboard! I have no intention of getting a replacement case ever!

Final note, watched The Last Picture Show last night. Beautiful print, absolutely amazing film, nice extras.

I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my copy of Videodrome. I already own the Criterion DVD. I like the movie, but I've only watched the DVD once since I bought it. At some point, I'm probably going to have to stop trying to upgrade all my DVDs, especially if they were solid releases from Criterion.

Looks like the other Feb. releases haven't dropped yet.... I'll keep an eye on the prices, and hope for the best.

I caught them all at $27.99, but it seems that Fish Tank is the only one available at that price now, all the others are $35.99 :(

The Last Picture Show (at least that's what I watched first when I got my set!)

Might just see that on too... Might see "Head" of I'm still awake. This will be the 1st time seeing both films. Amazing that Michael Nesmith particpated on the commentary, he usually distances himself from the "Monkee-mania".:p I actually met the other 3 in the mid 90'a at Sam Goody and they signed my original vinyls of "Headquarters" & "The Birds, The Bees and The Monkees".

If you're not crazy about it, then there's no need to buy it, especially for a second time.

Well I placed my order on November 24th, I remember I was waiting for Amarcord to appear after all the others were available to pre-order.

greekak229 12-03-2010 07:55 PM

I pre-ordered Army of Shadows and Fish Tank, and they're still $27.99.

I have Amarcord and Still Walking ordered together (placed on the 24th according to Amazon) and I just placed the order for Fish Tank....

I guess I just don't know how I missed Senso and Sweet Smell of Success (in addition to Fish Tank) when I placed my orders on the 24th

I seem to remember ordering them all..... but I guess I didn't
