Sorry about that. I thought the trailers went under CriterionCast's YouTube account right away, but I guess not.

Yeah, according to that, CG is going to be very happy..

I'm up punk a$$es. Ryan made a cool visit late last night on Cforum and told us what he thought was going to be announced. I haven't saw his twitter trailers yet, but hopefully we get Ray and Demy.

jcs913 04-15-2011 05:25 PM

CC, I thought this was a Kino release.
[Show spoiler]Léon Morin

If this will be released, how did they manage to license it from Kino?

It's been with Rialto Pictures.

SpiderBaby 04-15-2011 05:31 PM

Having Ray (not on U.S. home video) and Demy (not on Criterion) will be the best releases of the month for those reasons (of course people will say that's wrong because having upgrades and Kubrick are more important).

ahh, now that would make sense. I thought Kino still had the rights for distribution.

I have no knowledge of that. Just what I see on Rialto's site is what I would believe would be Criterions' after (now let's get going on Les Carabiniers Rialto.).

No, my neighbors kids...I think I can hear them outside...:D

Does anyone think CHUD will be a serious release? CC went as far as to make artwork for it, and then posted a pic of something related a few days after April Fools Day.

Pretty crafty, pretty crafty...

italy12 04-15-2011 05:39 PM

Anyone see Google's Chaplin-inspired video logo?? Pretty sweet.

If that's true I am totally sold on it. One of my top 5 favorite movies of all times.

SpiderBaby 04-15-2011 05:42 PM

While we wait, can anyone name 3 of the 4 people in this amazing photo? Hint, all are directors.

Dennis Hopper sportin' the hat.

SpiderBaby 04-15-2011 05:47 PM

Dennis Hopper, Kenneth Anger, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Donald Cammell. Talk about a room full of bada$$ people.

Between them at the time of the photo you got Scorpio Rising, El Topo, The Last Movie, Performace, etc.

The guy to his left (our right) is the ape man from the Geico commercials. I was unaware he directed films.
