One of them is obviously Dennis Hopper.

I'm going to guess the gentleman on the far right is Oliver Stone?

EDIT: I guess not. :o

Dennis Hopper, Kenneth Anger, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Donald Cammell. Talk about a room full of bada$$ people.

Between them at the time of the photo you got Scorpio Rising, El Topo, The Last Movie, Performace, etc.

I gave the answers. No way Oliver Stone can be in a room full of this awesome.

No need to be embarrassed. These people are the hardcore of the hardcore. Oliver Stone wishes he can make a movie about these people.

Could not be Oliver Stone as he was probably in Vietnam when that picture was taken. Or was that more into the 1970's? Still he was unknown at the time in any case

Possibly getting The Killing and
[Show spoiler]Leon Morin
this month is :D

Especially since I thought
[Show spoiler]Leon Morin
was owned by
[Show spoiler]Studio Canal

Speaking of El Topo and The Holy Mountain, man the blu-rays are as high as Criterions. Funny, being the rumor is Criterion passed on these (LAME) to release other stuff. Hope these go down in prices when hardly no one buys them so I can.;)

Jodorowsky is a master. Holy Mountain is a favorite of mine.

Well half of the forum thinks he is a caveman now from my photo, but yes he is a master and I want to see his cut of Hopper's The Last Movie when Criterion releases it in 2 cuts just for me late this year along with American Dreamer for a 2-3 disc super release for $50.

Anybody watch Kenneth Anger films, the other master in that photo I posted? Scorpio Rising is one of my fav films.

So its getting late & still no announcements...whats the usually timeframe for Criterion to list the new titles?

BFI has his stuff on BD as well...have never seen it, but have been tempted to check it out.

It's usally around this time but it can be later too. I remember a few months back it was not until 4 pm or something like that

Wow, what? How come I never knew about this? A blu-ray of Anger's films? Time to get a region free blu-ray player. Best news I will hear today. When did this come out?

And the best part is that, if you move fast enough, you can get it on Amz UK for £5.99 :)

SpiderBaby 04-15-2011 06:44 PM

Is this region-free like MoC's City Girl, etc? I saw a forum post that says it is, but want to make sure. Wow, I go on BFI's site all the time, but the Anger films are hiding from me. The only way I see them is if I search for them. Oh well, found out now. lol.
