This is not true. CriterionCast has already teased "Tokyo Story" (blu-ray upgrade) in the past and that has yet to show up. I'm sure there are a few others, as well, if we were to look.

Yeah, the Cast gave me Demy last month and Criterion took it away.

Even more reason that posting their "predictions" shouldn't be considered "spoilers" and people shouldn't whine if they get posted here.

That'd be funny if is announced (with a Jim Emerson commentary naturally). Although it seems to be far on the back burner at the present (if at all). Fine by me as they have other things to get in the collection.

If that's all, it would be a pretty light month. All are definite buys from me eventually. I have the Korean LE of Secret Sunshine, but I sold off The Killing when I found out Criterion would get to it.

I'm going to give you an INSIDE SCOOP that you can't tell anybody else, or my source might be fired. Okay, I have info that leads me to believe that there will be a [spoiler]Jean Vigo set[spoiler] announced. Oh crap, spoiler!

The Polanski and Kubrick titles are of less interest, but if the Vigo set and Orpheus trilogy are in blu-ray, august will be great.
