CG, just saw over on Criterion Cast about those "Breathless" t-shirt costing about $150. Expected, but still ridiculous.

Yeah and what's funny is that dude who made that post said he will buy one. Well I guess he likes girl shirts because there just for girls.:D I didn't want one anyways, too much money for something that looks like some custom iron ons. The only one I like is the photo with the french flag covering their faces and Breathless in English. I could of made better shirts myself. Rich people and there stupid fashion.

$150 for a t-shirt of a Godard film? Are they serious or is this some sort of inside joke?

Godard>everything ever made.

The more you accept that, the better.

No way. Michael Bay and Spielberg are way better! ;) :ohnoes: :whip:

A Michael Bay designer t-shirt goes for $200 easy. It even makes explosion sounds when you touch it.

Cool, wonder what a Megan Fox shirt will do if you touch it?:D

Maybe they had a relative of P.T. Barnum sign the shirts. A guy could take a gal out on several dates for $150.00 I will pass on the shirt.

SpiderBaby 06-15-2010 12:46 AM

I guess I should make a shirt of 7 dudes playing with their swords and sell it to you Godard haters?:D

P.S., those shirts really suck.

The only way I'd ever pay $150 for a Godard t-shrt is if it came with a young Anna Karina wearing it.

Well I guess the Thin Red Line lovers will have to stay blue below the waist until the morning for Criterion to complete it. It seems too late for announcements and just left a glitch on the site and went home. BOOOO!

That might even be worth $151!

Good God, man. I love the film - one of my top five favorites, probably - but there are other films out there.

From the Criterion website: Walkabout Manufacturing Problem
06/09/2010 12:40 PM

We have been alerted to a manufacturing problem with our Walkabout Blu-ray edition that occurs on a limited number of players. The affected players are:

Sony BDP-350 and BDP-360
Pioneer BDP-05FD and BDP-120
Sharp BD-HP22U, BD-HP21U, and BD-HP20U
Memorex MVBD2520
Insignia NS-2BRDVD

The disc will not load in the Insignia and Memorex players, and with the others, about fifty minutes into the feature, the audio and video begin to skip and stutter. We are working with the pressing plant to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If you have our Walkabout Blu-ray disc and own one of these players, please e-mail Jon Mulvaney so that we can notify you as soon as replacement copies become available.

I believe a few people posted about having problems with the movie.
